This is a high quality mv. It was filmed in Hong Kong. A lot of the scenes were homages to a famous Hong Kong movie producer(not famous enough that I remember the name). The song is a breakup song, and each of the girls display different was to cope/react. Until the end where the get together with friends. So well put together.
the Hongkong producer's name is "wong kar wai"director, screenwriter, and producer.Wong consolidated his worldwide reputation with the 1997 drama Happy Together, for which he won Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival.

MAMAMOO and Song Yuqi's MVs lead me to him and I ended up downloading all his movies and watching one every weekend.
For me, this song makes me feel nostalgic, sad and happy at the same time, it's a masterpiece.
And the best thing of Mamamoo is that they’re even better singing live. You can feel the pasion in their singing, they’re amazing

For me, rather than each of them facing the breakup in different ways I read it more like how each member represent different stages.
1. Solar was really upset and hurt over the breakup. Just right after it happens, the brokenness.
2. Moonbyul pretending to be fine - just like her rap lyrics
3. Wheein - stage of letting go. you see how she smash that flower onto the fence real hard and trying to get back with life
4. Hwasa - being able to finally let go, move on and celebrate from it.
That's also the sequence of the whole taxi scene. Solar getting onto the car, byul appeared in it and solar leaning against her. Then moonbyul looking out of the window, transitioning to Wheein and lastly, Hwasa getting off the car. Representing the end of the journey.
Wind flower is very special to many moos and to MMM as well. not forgetting the actual 'windflowers' serves as a reminder to enjoy the moment in order to take in opportunities at the right time. And also the arrival of spring breeze - just like a new start.

This was filmed in Hong Kong! I heard it's a tribute for Hong Kong filmmaker/director Wong Kar-wai. most of his films have this color and vibe.

Vocal Queens. Unmatched. Authenticity is their game. Doesn't really follow the industry. Stand out at their own sound. Four distinct fabulous voices with great musicality. True artists.

Mamamoo's entire discography is so diverse that every song is such a different experience. I really recommend (for newer fans especially) to get/listen to the I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST ALBUM. Out on September 15. It's a remastered compilation album that consists of 23 songs including their best hits. I think what makes Mamamoo different from your typical girl group is their musicality and if you're someone who appreciates music you will surely love the album! 👏🏻

Wind flower is one of my favorite songs by Mamamoo and is a hard choice. The feeling of classic movies. They filmed in Hong Kong, you should see the live stages, is unique and nostalgic :)
This song should have gotten more exposure than it did. It's so freaking good and easily top 5 MMM track for me.
Pd-nim reacted to this before, you can check out their MV analysis! Also, this is no joke one of their bests, but it's very underappreciated. People might be a bit underwhelmed because this was the comeback after Egotistic (if I'm not mistaken), but it's still top tier 👑👑

The aesthetic is actually designed to conjure look of Hong Kong cinema in 1990's. Take a look at films of Wong Kar-wai and John Woo from the 1990's and you will see the influence. The HK noir of the 1990's has a beautiful urban solitude that was perfect for this song. Check out Wong Kar-wai's Chunking Express.

Just because he doesn’t like it doesn’t mean others won’t. It’s always good for people to react to them. I have faith that once someone gets into them, it’s really hard to get out :)
@@L0VEST4Y mate, if Mamamoo don't do live shows, etc in the West they won't get exposure. even though these videos bring some people, their youtube channel is stuck at 6 million subscriber for over 1 year. Blackpink made a live show in Coachella and got millions of subscribers. the exposure comes from live shows, etc and not from youtube reactors. he has big following, but from these views almost all are already Mamamoo fans. as you can see he's not into Mamamoo. he likes a few songs here and there but he will never be a fan cause Mamamoo is not for him. he said he prefers songs like Where Are We Now, and these songs are very very very few compared to the whole discography of Mamamoo.
@@SapiaNt0mata mate, the reason why they have a stagnant following for the past year is because of the fandom wars that happened LAST YEAR which made them lose many fans and also become out of radar for a while. I don’t wanna go in too deep (you can check the entire thing on twitter and stuff) but they were accused of being racist - which is totally untrue. This is because Hwasa wore a pocahontas dress for dinga’s halloween version, which made ppl hate on her. Before that, a few years back, there was a blackface incident where they wore dark skin makeup while singing bruno mars for their audience. All of these incidents which stemmed from their ignorance resulted in a loss of international fans, which made their youtube have a stagnant subscription. So sure, a part of this may be because they haven’t been doing lives (which is really not their fault but their agency’s and covid’s) but also the amount of hate they received over the past year. Especially Hwasa who was constantly hated on by Blackpink fans as Jennie’s “copycat” which is SO untrue considering their different styles and music. BUT ANYWAY, I still don’t get your point. Sure, I see this reaction and Aaron doesn’t like it. But the fact that it has so many views and likes makes me HAPPY because yes, although Mamamoo may have made a mistake with culture appropriation, they are innocent due to their ignorance. They have timely apologized and deleted all these clips, but HATERS KEEP HATING on them, which has vastly affected their popularity. So yeah, excuse me if I feel happy knowing that there are still moomoos left in this world 🙃

5:21 it's got an old fashioned barber shop vibe, with the lights and tiles. Both men and women can get haircuts at the same hair salon now, but there still are men (ex.my dad) who would just go to the barber for many reasons. I'm pretty sure barber shop's not a Korean thing though the interior design could differ..
