I miss her already!
She was such an icon. I swore someday I would grow up to be her, until she said;
Who wants to be me? You should want to be you, be who you are and be true to yourself. That’s all anyone really needs, just be you.
I can’t remember which interview it was from, but it has stuck with me, and I hope I never forget it.
As I was proofreading I could hear her saying that in my head, not with my voice but hers.
You will live on forever, Iris, because you are you down to your core.
