Your the best! Thanks!
My Grandma lived to 97. She was morbidly obese and drank vodka like it was her job. The one thing I noticed about her is she ate her food very slowly, and never seemed stressed out about anything. ...Go figure.
Drank vodka like it was her job...very hilarious😂
😂😂😂
Vodka and orange juice, best drink. 👍👍
Genes....my alcoholic father lived way too long also
Stress kills, smart woman.
My great aunt died at around 97 years old. She ate small portions her whole life, and was big on drinking lemon-juice. She was in amazing health her whole life, and was never stressed, which likely had a lot to do with never being married or having kids. She said the key to long life was minimal food and minimal stress. Good luck to us all!
thanks for sharing ❤️
I'm wondering if those that are truly healthy are less stressed. Your body just knows how to deal with stress.
Sadly many people that eat healthy have stressed lives.
One should avoid stressing ones body and ones mind too.
It used to be that women outlived men but I'm wondering if the FEMINIST GENERATION (post 60's+) will be dying off sooner, mainly due to the stresses of handling both a JOB and FAMILY.
@@MsElke11 lol 😂. You have a point tho. Women isn’t build with that so much stress because they’re body is evolved to carry and nurture a baby which is a very stressful process. Stress for women is reserved for that event.

My great Aunt lived until 103. She was a good weight, walked everyday, low sugar, no prepackaged or take out, even eating out was a no no. She ate a salad and a huge side of vegetables with lunch and dinner. Breakfast, she has orange juice, oatmeal with berries, coffee with whole milk, and a small bowl of fruit with honey, flax and chia on top. She was doing this stuff way before it became an influencer thing..like 1960's on. She also read everyday and did some form of art or creative work. She also didn't take anyone's bs..peace at all costs! LOL
thank you for sharing! wish you have a *healthy long life* just like her 😍
I was just watching a video on new research that showed that it's incredibly important to eat veggies First with any meal. More blood sugar spikes leads to more issues that impact life span. Turns out if you eat veggies First in your meal your body begins to immediately break the food down and the high fiber creates a protective mesh in your dietary tract and stops blood sugar spikes. I started trying this and it's surreal. It works to regulate blood sugar and I can eat all the regular stuff I eat, which is moderately healthy, and the meal doesn't cause blood sugar spikes and then that burnout feeling.
So I wonder how many of these people that live longer, just happened to have a salad starter with their meals? For me, I'm convinced. I had stopped eating until noon because of the blood sugar swing was crashing me. Basically, I'm going to switch to Japanese style breakfast, instead of American and always eat my veggies first!
She still died, everyone dies some just sooner than others😅
@@Naturallady. She grew up on a dairy farm, so I am going to assume whole?!?
Thanks 😊
Both my grandmas lived to late 90's and they both ate everything under the sun, what neither one of them did was stress. They worried about nothing. They lived long because of it!
How on earth does anyone manage to worry about nothing? I would give ANYTHING to be worry free.
Secret to long life: Be chill & not think too much
I believe
I’m screwed 😂
Monkey talk is destroying me.
Sheer class! My gg lived to be 108 years of age. She was not sick was still walking around and could tell you stories all the way back to her childhood up until she died.
I think that her longevity can be attributed to her overall joie de vivre. Love of life. She is obviously highly creative. When we lose our motivation for life, we mentally and psychologically check out. Doesn’t take long for the body to respond to that disinterest.
Wow! Well said.😊
For your information its genetic.
I thought the same too.
I agree
@@Dobrojuto.yt-7 For your Information, not necessarily. Nutrition is a huge part of that equation and the will to live is an even stronger factor. My dad is classic example of someone who comes from a lineage of long living people. But my dad lost the will to live after a traumatic experience in his golden years. I saw him deteriorate slowly until his death. The life force left him and it was clearly obvious he didn't want to live. Prior to that, my dad was a funny, out-going guy who loved life. So no, it's not genetics. You can have all the genetics in the world but if you don't eat nutrient dense foods it ain't gonna do you any good. Add no purpose or meaning in life and you'll be living even a shorter time.
I also know people who don't come from a lineage of long living people but live into their 90s and 100+ with no health issues.
Her above average financial status has also helped her live longer. She is able to afford healthcare, good nutritious foods, and doesn’t have the stresses of poverty upon her. That, combined with good genes, outlook and fortune have all contributed to her longevity.

She didn't had a hard life like most people who worked physically and long hours just to make ends meet.
So true ❤
@@naomiknight9161 That's true too. I guess it's more to "how to not die early when you're rich". In our country many rich people die earlier than the middle class because of their lifestyle
Excess is bad news folks. I had a friend who was always pursuing a good time and she looks like hell right now. I have a sister who had to have a PhD and I ask at what cost? Her health is awful and since her husband passed last year she's a basket case. She never did eat properly, no exercise, watching television, especially those judge shows about other folks problems, and always in bed for some strange reason. Had a rough childhood but so did I, however, I chose not to let it ruin my life. The way you THINK will definitely be the determining factor of the QUALITY of your life no matter the length. God bless you my friend.
I think having a reason to get out of bed every day helps keep you going.
Its not how long you live but how worthy we live our lives …. Having a long live is a bonus
My dad eats stuff like sausage and eggs, soup beans and cornbread. He's 84 and works a full time job every day.
Long life does not mean Success.
But it could be painful
Warren Buffett is 92 years old and he eats Mc Donald's every day and drink 5 cans of coca cola cans each day.
Cherish every minute. My Dad was weed eating the yard after working the night shift and had a massive heart attack. He was 72.
That’s amazing!!!
yup. great genetics!
My grandma just died at 96 in ‘18. She was a farmer girl though. I think living in the city is a killer for many people because of the stress and toxicity.
I think people who live on farms do lot more exercise when they're older than city folk.
@@elipotter369 I know she walked everyday. I live in a high crime city so walking everyday for exercise can be hazard! We stay indoors unless going to work. It's sad 😔
Your mindset is EVERYTHING. I heard a few centennials interviewed on why they thought they lived longer. Two were sisters, they said it was that they never married and one was a man who drank beer & smoked cigarettes everyday. If you believe what you eat is good for you, it will be. On the other hand, if you are eating something saying "I shouldn't eat this, this is no good" it certainly won't be. Do what you believe is good for you & listen to your inner guidance.
"It's not my place to tell other people how to live!" Amen.

If your rich, you can afford a healthy lifestyle and regular dr visits. If something is wrong, you can get it fixed so your not sick anymore. You can pay for test and meds your insurance won’t. You don’t have to stress over things normal people do, like work, affording rent , bills, food, insurance, etc. They can afford to take vacations to relax while we can’t. They can take most things in life for granted, unlike the rest of us. Money is power. Poverty is death.
And not to talk about the stress that caused by today lifestyle and working environment-something that rich ppl dont have.Stress is no 1 of all reason for shorter life.
Pauline I agree 💯
Well said!
The only real power is God. I have money but when I got sick, there was no medicine for me no matter how much money I had. I was ready to pay, but there was nothing to pay for. About the same time I acknowledged God , I became a believer and was praying every day to him to heal me, and he did. In the end of the day, mo money, no doctors, no healthy food could save me, just Jesus. God bless
You don’t have to be rich to take care of yourself. Buy some health insurance.
@@ann5765 obviously you know nothing about how insurance works. The dr can order test that you need, but the insurance company can deny those test. Same with meds. Insurance don’t cover everything and there are limits on how much they cover each year. This is why some have to choose between their meds and food. Some meds cost $2000 a month and your only allowed 3 month’s coverage of it because there is a $6000 a yr limit on meds. Some insurance won’t even cover all diabetics meds a month. I hope you never find yourself in need of meds or test and your insurance won’t cover it. Your probably young and in great health. Enjoy it while you can. It won’t always be like that.
My mom died a month short of turning 102 and she didn't always eat a proper diet but her long life was due to her genes she and Iris have long ears the sign of long life 👍🏻

Good fortune plays a huge part: she didn't develop debilitating health issues. Health problems strike at random, and destroy a person's quality of life. This woman is immensely lucky.
My grandmother die at the age of 105, she has never wear spectacles in her whole life. All her food was organic because she was a farmer herself. The same us my grandfather he was also 105 before he passed away. I believe that if we eat good food we will live long.

My grandmother passed away a year ago, she was 102. She owned a shoe store (together with my grandfather) and she was very stylish. She used her first, proper salary in her youth, when she worked as a nurse, to buy the best handbag she could afford. This would have been around 1939.

Real fact : my mother ( mother of 11 children) died at 67 and she always had a healthy and accurate diet. Same year of her death , but few months later , another woman , 83 years old , mother of 9 children, died because of alcohol. I know that woman from my childhood, because some of her sons were our colleagues in school. That woman was drunk every single day, she often was found sleeping in the street, on the way coming home , and yet ...she lived 83 years !!

While I like that attitude, it’s not that simple. It’s not only about how stressful your daily life is. Stress gets stored in the body and most people need help and guidance in how to release that stress. Old traumas from childhood gets stuck in the body. Many of us are living with childhood traumas still affecting us and we are not even aware of it because it has been normalized in our society. I recommend everyone to take a course in nervous system regulation.
@@Isildur94 that is very true people believe stress does not let go of your brain, we are living lives we dont normally encounter in the past. Mostly overloading ourselves and then finding an easy fix or bandaid... and then a lot of people are not given much choice of respite of course stress piles up and if you cant even release stress normally then it never goes away. 😅 PTSD is problematic I dont understand how we are suffering PTSD now as bad as people that where recovering from ww2, funny enough now ptsd can come from anything I'm not sure why we think of the worst.

I would suggest not lifting weights or exercising nearly as much. Youre stressing your body out and destroying millions of cells every time you do it. Plus creates free radicals in the body. Just eat lots of meat, preferably raw; and limit pretty much everything else, especially seed oils and corn syrup/sugar.
That's definitely the way to live; you reduce A LOT of your stress when you stop being concerned about others when they don't need your concern. My grandmother lived until 99 (passed in 2020, her brother lived to be 102, passed 2021), the only thing that messed her up was her addiction to drinking sodas and she didn't start doing that unitl her sixties, caused her to have renal failure. But one things for sure, she did not concern herself with other's business and she didn't worry about things out of her control.
Agree that’s a big part, but so hard when you love people.
My grandparents lived in NYC and never exercised in their lives except a little walking to catch a cab. They didn’t smoke or drink but they ate deli food and cake and ice cream daily. They lived to be 92 and 96 in their own apartment. This was when the life expectancy in the US was the late 60’s-early 70’s.
My grandmother lived to be 102 her daughter lived to be 78 had a stomachache went to the hospital died of sepsis just eat what you enjoy just don’t ever overindulge and get your weight to an unhealthy weight because that contributed to diseases. Moderation is the best choice.
