What I love most about this is that this isn't even vintage for her. She's the only one in the room who was alive when all of the clothes were made, when the different styles were in fashion. For her shopping for vintage clothing is a journey into her youth, into all the different time periods she lived in.
I just watched a 93 year old woman go shopping and I have no regrets. She's very cool
Now THIS is a woman that knows what she wants. She has her own individual style and a mindset to match.

This lady understood fashion, it's how it "touches" you and it comes from the heart. Fashion is Art, she didn't care who designed it or signed it, if it moved or inspired her she wanted it. Legendary
I loved that she does care about designers or prices, if she liked it and it was 2 dollars she'd wear it.

I'm in my 60's & really appreciate Iris Apfel & her style. I have several of her coats & when I wear them people are amazed at how lovely they are. Quality never goes out of style and neither do "quality" people. Shouting out from Detroit!!!
