Dynamic Striking was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your striking skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for students interested in striking who don’t look at mixed martial arts as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

Always brilliant analogies. The jab is a flashlight leading the way through the darkness. I love it. This man is a national treasure.

The jab is effective because it's the most direct punch in the arsenal..from point A. To point B a direct straight line.

I will always remember seeing an artcile about the Worlds Best Great White Shark Photographer. He said he can get up close with the sharks as much as possible because he would swim right towards them with no fear. No-one swims up to them with no fear. He is the Predator in their eyes

Seems like Norton neutralized Alis jab game though and Muhammad didn't pick up, for whatever reason, that Norton was, i guess, slipping and countering? Someone else pointed out that was also partly due to Alis extremely low guard position. Not dissing the GOAT, btw, but it can be painful watching a few of his fights where he took way too many shots to his head. :(

Lets not kid ourselves, Ali got the worst of that fight and the ropes were loosened up way too much. Foreman also mentioned that he was sick in Africa leading up to the fight. Ali might have won the fight but he took way more punishment than Foreman.

That's a shitty heavy bag that he would have to hit at or above the straps to strike the bag at our head height or above.
