Bettembourg Station (Luxembourg CFL) on 14th May 1996
In the morning of 14th May 1996 I visited Bettembourg Station, a very busy location with a high amount of both Freight and local and longer distance passenger services. The town is located south of the city of Luxembourg on the main lines from Strasbourg, Charleville Meziers and further to the south Thionville and Metz. Many types of traction observed were CFL classes 900, 1000, 1030, 1800, 3600. with the appearance of SNCF Class BB 15000 and SNCF Class CC 72000. EMU classes 250, 260 and 2000 were the majority of passenger services running to/fro the capital and beyond.
