BTW, the actual Batman has been banned from learning magic because it would turn someone like him into a villain, and Cid has no problem with how people see him so long as they think he looks cool and strong and impressive, so this is basically magic Batman isekai, I too highly suggest watching it.

@Maou_yusha20 HOLY SHIT CID ACTUALLY IS AWSEOM, regardless of everythinghe says is being misunderstood, the story always makes it a good thing for him and shadow garden, I was expecting he eventually destroys shadow garden, due to his selfish chunibyu fantasies but in the end they eventually misunderstan what cid is doing and take it as he did it for the greater good. Actually, I'm almost finishing s2 god. I hope there's s3.

They're not the same... Overlord has far better world building and story writing and most of all logic behind the actions of each characters... unlike CID.
