While in the actual Ep12 it was not shown that Beta followed Shadow but in kagejitsu series it was mentioned that Beta followed him.
They didn't showed it, but there's an omake version how the seven shades were in shocked and depressed as their master and beta were disappeared after the incident. 😅
Those who didnt watch Kagejitsu would probably be surprised seeing her in the movie but I'm sure Beta will explain in short summary to Shadow how she got sucked in.
