- The FUTURE of MTB is here and in this video I explain why...
The Haibike LYKE not only looks the dream but rides incredible too. My LYKE is kitted out with upgrades from my sponsors Halo wheels, Gusset components & Schwalbe tyres! The LYKE is pushing the limits of EMTB with the power to weight of the motor with the bike looking just like an enduro MTB. I think this is a dream EMTB bike build and I could not wait to get out and hit the trails! Enjoy the first ride on my new bike and let me know what you think in the comments below! :)
I hope that you enjoy the video! :)

its true, light e-bikes are the best fun, im a bike guide in south portugal and my working horse is Orbea Rise
This is some thing I am wrestling with. Some of my buddies say that you have to get a full power E bike to keep up with other people on E bikes. I really am intrigued with the Rise and this Haibike. Do you ride with anyone that has a full power 85 Nm motor and 630+ WH battery?
This is where I'm at at present torn between a light and full fay
At last a proper riders view and in-depth review of this bike, I've ben waiting for so long for any decent reviews, even @RobRides hasn't done one yet !. Thank you for you efforts , And on the back of this review I will be purchasing one now instead of the much more expensive Whyte E Lyte. Thanks
I've seen Tom ride this in person, had no idea it was an E-bike till I asked. Definitely is the future for sure.
My next ride is definitely going to be an E-MTB Enduro, but that's a couple years away from now because I just got my first E-Bike last year, and it's a 120 front and rear touring fully.
Great commercial 😂 but seriously, that is a sweet looking rig
Just my opinion but if you wanna view it as a commercial that’s up to you!🤟
@@TomCardy I was just joshing. Love the content.
@@andrewsiasparks cheers dude!
I thought you said “sweet pig” 🐖 😆
Wow. Your skills steal the show from the bike. Super smooth with the trials line up that wall. Does the crank sensor register trials pedal kicks or does it need a full rotation to pick up?
Love watching you ride.
Do you ever bend pedals?
Picked on up for £4k, think that is good value. Let hope the bike is as good and reliable as you say.
You definitely show off how good that thing is, personally rather they made that banging DJ available
I have wanted a lightweight eeb since forever because I'm just not a fan of these super heavy bikes even though I've enjoyed demoing a few (Nukeproof, Yeti, Merida, Vitus, Trek, Saracen, Canyon) but I have tried the SL Kenevo and loved the concept of it being light but still being an eeb. I can't afford one right now but because I only want one of its lightweight I've been keeping my eye on SL Kenevo, Transition Relay and the Lyke. At the moment I don't have super stiff setup as mostly ride parks / dh tracks so the 140mm puts me off. But if Haibike ever do a longer travel Lyke I'd find that so hard to turn away from. Love your bike mate.
I love it
Haibike got their monies worth!
Perfect bike dude!
I used to love Haibike. It was my favorite brand but they broke my heart by leaving the United States. I have had abandonment issues ever since.
I wanted the Lyke but I had to settle on an underpowered SL from Specialized. Haibike hurt me.
I lyke it! 😂
Can i ask how tall you are?? I see before you ride a M. I'm 5' 10" and the haibike sizing puts me at the bottom of the large, is it better to go for medium?
would absolutely love one but pretty sure i will never have the money to get one lol 😖
Are you gonna post the long jump at twisted
That’s Sam’s vid dude!
I lyke it 😂
Lol! That made a horrible noise on the 2nd case.
Still love that up the stairs wheelie. Nice one Tom.
Does it cost less than £5k?
The lower model does!
It's under £5k at alot of shops.
Got mine for £4600 and I'm amazed just how good this bike is,
I ride tight single trail and dh but nothing really crazy.
25 mile ride mainly middle power setting I use just over half battery.
Video friend a bor very good coolshow screen man move a action a amazing wilds
Even if motorcycles get lighter by time , I continue to stick with my bicycle
very early
Legend!
@@TomCardy thanks tom i LOVE ur content keep it up bro
£10,899.00
Alot of cash
Dollar!
Available for a lot less than 10k, My Haibike Lyke CF 11, same bike as Toms, cost me £4800 for my Christmas present to myself.
@@stevetaylor2818I paid £4k
Why you call them bikes? If they have a electric motor, aren't they little motorbikes?
Who actually cares what they are called, they are brilliant fun!
Its still a bicicle two wheeler
Dont think its the future or changed the game because i don't think many people if any go to haibike when they want a enduro, DH, jump bike or E Bike to jump etc. cannyon, cannondale, trek, gt, rose, ns etc are the brands most people go too when theyre spending thousands on a reliable bike to do what they want. Haibike may be a good bike, your sponsor etc not knocking it but again def isnt a go to brand.
Why do all the young riders make that squeeky "yeww" noise. Maybe im getting old but it sounds like youve got something wrong with you 😁
Haibikes have gotten pretty nice over the years. The early versions were not my favorite. These new ones are 🔥
