    My husband bought this for me (prefer jewelry though haha!), and I love it! I no longer have to pay to get the carpet cleaned and I can use it whenever. As far as drying...it takes less than a day. If your carpet is soaked, I don't know what the hell you're doing lol.

    LoL... I get so stressed when our new puppy has his accidents. But it’s not puppies fault. Puppy is just being a puppy and it my duty to keep up the training and be consistent. I bought one of these carpet cleaner. So far it works good! Took me 3 washed and 3 dirty water dumping to get somewhat “clean” water to pour down the toilet.

    I own a Bissell it started having issues after one year broke a few drive belts then the fresh water tank fell apart and it leaks dirty water on the carpet when you shut it off so you have to park it on a hard surface after shutting it off ..I think none of these bought at a box store are built to last more then a year don't matter what brand you buy.it quit putting down solution and it won't pick up water anymore so looking for a replacement

    • @bobg3221
      @bobg3221 Před 6 měsíci

      No, you push the button going forward when going backwards you release the button that is called the drying cycle I know this I used to clean carpets for a living the real way to clean a carpet is not to do it. That way you go to the store and buy a spray bottle or a spray tank spray the solution all over your carpet, take a deck, scrub and lightly scrub your carpet. When you are done with that add only normal, clean, hot water no solution run the machine over the spots where you have sprayed your carpet with the solution squeezed the trigger going forward That will let out the hot tapwater pull the machine back without squeezing the trigger like I said before that is called the drying cycle which means the machine is sucking up the hot tapwater you just sprayed on your carpet and it’s also lifting the soap or solution out of your carpet, fiber But I don’t know anything. I just cleaned carpets for a living.

      @@NinaSharee then you’re wasting your time what you need to do is go buy a cheap pump sprayer and spray solution on your carpet first take a deck scrub brush you can get at Walmart and lightly go over your carpet and I mean very lightly push too hard with the deck, scrub brush you will start ripping your carpet up then take your shampooer and normal super hot tapwater no solution no soap just water run the machine with the hot tapwater. Where are you sprayed solution already it will rinse the solution out of the carpet fibers and dry way quicker

      I used it for about 2 years, once per month. I have 2 dogs. It broke about 6 months in at the stem where the handle is. This was pretty easily fixed with duct tape and super glue. It happened when it tell straight back with a gallon of water on it. I thought it was straight up and secure so my fault there. After a year a plastic piece broke off of the clear plastic housing that sucks the water up. It was never the same after that. You had to basically do twice as much work. Then at the two year mark the motor began smoking and it seized. It was dead. For $200 I'd say it was worth it. It's 1000 x better cleaning dog pee than any other method. Not sure what I'll get to replace it.

      Just wanted to add after 4 years of using the same machine as you see here I am sad to say that I am changing to a Bissell however I have owned this machine for years literally and have had no problems with it. TIPS: Make sure to always clean out the dirty reservoir tank between uses, Clean your under brushes monthly and the last thing. The reason I'm switching is due to a fault in leakage after 4 years. So the clean water canister that's sits atop of the machine drained completely out somehow onto the floor while not in use. I don't know the reason why but I can't say anything bad about the machine as it's lasted me 4 long years. Just decided to try a Bissell instead. This is a great machine for tough stains if you do a prespray on the stain and the attachments it comes with are quite varied and will do couches to car seats no problem. ANYBODY THINKING ON BUYING THIS MACHINE: it's got a very progressive shelf life and will do a very decent job on your carpets and Upholstery. For those who want to know how many uses I got out of it. I cleaned my carpets once every 2 weeks and every other day on pet stains for 4... Yes 4 solid years. MY upper living area is 1100 ft of living space and all berber old school Carpet.I have 3 dogs and lots of birds and this beast of a machine has never missed taken out a tough stain.

I had the $150 Bissell power brush pet XL. That thing was fucking awesome. I’m gonna go pick a new one up tomorrow. Long story short had an argument with my wife And it did not face my wrath very well but as of every weekend use because I clean my carpets every weekend because I have two large dogs and one little dog and sometimes they like to do accidents in the house so every weekend I clean my carpets or at least try to to keep the urine and owners down

      Keep your fans running while you clean your carpet and always keep the AC on while cleaning your carpet. Your AC system is pulling out. The humidity in your home was higher humidity in your home. The carpet will take a long time to dry. I know I used to clean carpets for a living Also do not add this solution to the tank. Buy you a spray tank spray the solution on there first and take a deck scrub and lightly go over the carpet after that take your extractor or shampooer add hot tapwater to the clean water tank run that over where you sprayed the solution like you were going to clean the carpet, just don’t add the solution just plain normal hot tapwater. It will dry way quicker.

    No human should have wall to wall carpet with dogs. ;) buy the washable area rugs. They have them you can throw in the washer now. Also use a solution of water and vinegar on pet stains. The vinegar breaks down the urine and will kill the odor too. You don’t have to rinse after either.

    • @bobg3221
      @bobg3221 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Peroxide breaks down the urine crystals to be exact and most people have normal carpets in their home not area carpets that you can throw in a washer. I’ve tried the old vinegar trick and it sucks the only way to really clean your carpet is like I’ve mentioned before, go to the store by a spray tank Mix whatever solution you would like with adding peroxide to it and spray it on the areas you want to clean take your deck, scrub and lightly scrub the area that you’re going to clean then after that, you let that area sit that way it gives the solution soap and or peroxide solution time to break down the crystals in the urine After that, you go to your tapwater, add super hot tapwater to your clean water tank with no solution whatsoever. Take your machine and go over where you just sprayed your solution and scrubbed lightly squeeze the trigger that is releasing the hot tapwater release the trigger and pull back that is called the drying cycle, your carpets will dry way quicker and you will have amazing results but don’t listen to me. I just used to clean carpets for a living.

    I owned a Bisselll for YEARS! It had to of been at least 30 years old when it finally died. I bought a newer Bissell and it SUCKED! Actually and unfortunately it didnt suck at all! It was useless in about 6 months. $300 of disappointment. After seeing reviews on several carpet cleaners I have come to the conclusion, they are ALL a waste of money! Dont last more then 2 years, poor quality in construction, small tanks, ....smh there is no such thing as a quality product anymore.....

      The Bissell that I bought works just fine I bought the power brush, XL pet. The thing would be still working fine if I didn’t smash it up against the wall because I argued with my wife now I gotta go buy the same one that one is great cleans my carpets very good.
