Totally agree this was one of my favourites and dare i say it a brilliant pop song/performance worthy of the charts world over and not just a eurovisuon entry. This guy is going places and he's beautiful which always helps

@@ch3rry___579 it's becoming a common thread and people have started to write about it as well. Remember Andy Abraham? Gaitana? John Lundvik? ALL the Black singers in last year's final? It's happened way too many times to be a coincidence or be just about not liking a song. Surely doesn't help that the social media hype train functions mainly for the campiest female popstar entries *cough* Ronela Hajati *cough* Literally all I was asking for was plz don't embarrass this talented man but too much to ask. The only Black winner so far was Dave Benton, 21 whole years ago, and only two PoC total have ever won, other one being Loreen 10 years ago. That's a very poor statistic.
He had it all omg. He's pretty, he has an awesome voice, the song is different, catchy and soulful, and it fits him incredibly. Even the staging and his dancing were really great. In my top 5

Thank you! I did, however, expect that professional juries from countries like the UK and Ireland would appreciate this kind of, let's be honest, good, soulful, well executed and sung song and give some of their points to Belgium. I'm often puzzled by the choices they make.

Same place as last year while last years song was not good at all. I am quite dissapointed. The Netherlands has gotten so many points. The song was nice but I didn't understand one word she sang while I speak the same language (Dutch) as her (Belgian also speak Dutch) . I did gave my votes to Poland. He blew me away !

This performance was so much better than the semi. I needed him to do some dancing in the semi and he did not but he did this time and it made the performance so much more charismatic. The vocals are great as always. A dark horse I think

True : Hooverphonic is a very good band , very well known in Belgium and they do have great songs but in my opnion it was not a good song to get many points at Eurovision contest. But they did quite good as they ended on 19th place. Many Belgian people thought they would end last place.

I was there in Turin watching live the ESC Final and when Belgium entry started something happened to me... jaw drop, goosebumps, the stage steal my attention in a strange way.
Every note, beat, also the choreo steps totaly amazed and captivated me. Everything was suddenly perfect. I think I fallen in love at first "sight" with a song.
Thanks to Jérémie for this unique moment.
To no extend I can understand this year’s votings for so many songs, this one included. I heard it for the first time on that show and I was 100% sure that it’ll be under the top 10 at least. So sad that it got ranked in a position it absolutely doesn’t deserve. So underrated, which just doesn’t make any sense to me, he got everything a good performer and artist needs in order to score high and to touch hearts. Please keep going Jérémie, I’ll listen to every single song you’ll release in the future

Eurovision always gets lots of point from neighbouring countries except for Belgium bc the western countries dislike each other. Ironic that we often get better points from Australia and Ireland but usually get 0 from France and the Netherlands

I'm currently training myself to like all the Eurovision 2022 songs by listening to them on repeat. Today I'm listening to this song (I'm listening to a song a day in running order, and I started doing it on the 1st of June)
This comes in 4 stages:
1. Tolerance
2. Familiarity (recognising the song when it comes on)
3. Knowing the melody (recognising the song without it being on)
4. Liking the song
Once I learn to enjoy and/or appreciate all the music from Eurovision 2022 only then can I even begin to look forward to Eurovision 2023.
When I finish liking all the songs I'm gonna rewatch the whole Eurovision 2022 and look at it for the true masterpiece that it is.
