Call of Duty: Vanguard is a 2021 first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 5, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. It serves as the eighteenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. Despite having similar settings, the game doesn't serve as a sequel to Call of Duty: WWII as it establishes new characters and a storyline featuring the birth of the special forces to face an emerging threat at the end of the war during various theaters of World War II across the globe.
Vanguard will feature similar gameplay mechanics previously introduced in Modern Warfare thus the player being able to mount wielded weapons to flat surfaces, interact with doors and execute takedowns. New gameplay features allow the player the ability to use a more advanced strategical approach in combat such as blind firing from behind cover, breaking through destructible environmental elements or creating new paths to complete objectives by climbing walls.
Vanguard's multiplayer mode is slated to launch with 20 total maps, 16 of which are featured for core game modes, while the other 4 are for a brand new game mode titled "Champion Hill", stated to be the next iteration of Gunfight, a 2v2 arena mode previously featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. In addition to the Gunsmith system returning in a more advanced form, Vanguard multiplayer will also feature a so-called "Caliber system" which brings immersive elements of destructible and reactive environment to its maps. Besides introducing an upgraded anti-cheat system and a new map scheduled to be launched at a later date, as with Cold War, Vanguard will integrate with Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing players to progress and use weapons, operators and other cosmetics items across both titles, in addition to the existing Modern Warfare and Cold War items in Warzone. Furthermore, just like the previous main installments of the Call of Duty franchise since 2019, Vanguard's multiplayer will also be fully cross-platform play compatible with a support for cross-generation gaming regarding eighth and ninth generation home video game consoles. - Hry

But CoD has moved to a mostly multiplayer based game, it's been like that for at LEAST the past 5 years, they would lose a ton of money by making so many extra copies with only campaign due to production vs sales

The detail in this game is insane, the Australian character is using an Australian made gun known as the "Owen machine gun" not very well known but was one of the best SMGs in the Aussie army during ww2 and early Vietnam. Love the vids btw❤

MW2 was probably and honestly probably my most played Call of Duty. I couldn't tell you how many sleepless nights I put into that game with my Group of friends. Man having watched your videos since the MW2/3 days Time flies, Heres to another Call of Duty and many more years of your content!

cod1 was the best, then waw... cod2 only had a good multiplayer but the singleplayer was kinda bad apart from the russian campaign

The best Call of Duty is the first one about WW2, the United Offensive and Call of Duty 2. World at War was also good. The WW2 one and this one have great graphics but don't have the feel to it.
I think the new Call of duty modern warfare is like the best one right now. Not just the graphics that’s good..they have so much other fun things to do in multiplayer.

Maan to me ww2 made me feel like I was really in the fields. I was hella immersed. Going home then Coming back just to get your best homie from the concentration camp hit crazy for me I was in tears. The most unique ending in a cod game for me.

Eh. Not exactly. Vanguard is trying to accomplish vastly different things. Those games were all about experiencing massive battle after massive with the story (if there even was one) just acting as a lazy excuse to drag you to the next historical battle. Vanguard is trying to tell a more focused, character-centric story. The battles are more background to the group’s personal tale, so it really shouldn’t be expected to have the same feel.
I love MW2, I've played every single COD ( despite being only 18 ). I started on PC, and then when I was around 7-8, my dad bought an Xbox and the first cod I played on it was MW2. I played that game at least 3000 times (campaign and spec ops only as I didn't have xbox live in my country (very less players) ). I still love it and bought it on my ps4. My favourite thing was the first mission. I can speak Pashto so it was so hype to hear my language being spoken in the very first mission when we were doing the tutorial in Afghanistan.
Same, I remember my brother realizing they were speaking it when we first played it years back. Pretty rare to see it spoken in American media.

Def the og black ops for me. Not for the multiplayer or the story, but zombies. My brother, my friend, and I spent 10+ hours sometimes doing zombie waves. Great memories
ww2 was by far my favorite, but considering this game is based of the same ers\a, i'm really excited for this series, good job on the videos man

I've been waiting for this upload! I'd have to say Cod Ghosts for all the memories, from waiting outside at gamestop at 3pm to 9pm in the cold on midnight release (although it was released earlier.) to playing the campaign before the multiplayer with friends. 😊
