Your talk really helped me with a Coursera course about the Jewish experience in Italy taught by Bernard Cooperman.

The defeat of evil; a merciful, and just god will step in to save and make good of His people. An interesting lecture and question period...so grab a coffee, relax, and be intellectually entertained about the Christian/Jew contrariety debate. Thanks Herbert!

Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time
The secret text of the Bible says ye shall know them by their fruits
So too that I say to my christian brothers and sisters be fruitful and multiply
Best regards from a Muslim [ line of ismail ]

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
    Omar, watch what you say!

sorry but it is not that simple - Isaiah uses the term alma (your woman) once but he uses betlah (virgin) 5 times. If he meant virgin he would have said virgin/betulah - but in this case the text says alma, so is is most likely that it refers to virgin. Study more - look up all the times that alma and betulah are used.

Brilliant. But some have said that Augustinian monks at the behest of Constantine going after "heretical" Christian sects inadvertantly launched Islam in the Arab world. Or what would later become Islam.

@folkfan88 Paul was a Jew from Tarsus of the Tribe of Benjamin, circumcised on the 8th day, a Pharisee (see Phil 3:1-9

Careful with your citations. Phi 3:1-9 does not have Paul saying he is from Tarsus. Only Acts claims that, Paul himself never does.

For what it is worth- According to Dr, James Tabor, St. Jerome related a tradition that Paul was born in Galilee. His family was supposedly forced to flee to Tarsus following the revolt led by Judas of Galilee in 4 BCE. If that were true, it wouldn’t impact Paul’s status as a Jew, but it would call Paul’s claims of Roman citizenship into question.

    Hey...friends.
    Don't persecute them.
You know the answer is they're never able to prove it.
It's hard for them to deny a traditional bullshit which's deep-rooted in their mind.

Paul one who could answer yes to these questions. Are you a Hebrew? Are you a Israelite? Are you a descendant of Abraham?
Paul-A person is not a Jew who is one ONLY outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.
Man states many things. Its a good thing then that GOD states who are His children.
children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
Such a persons praise, those born of God, is from GOD not man.
To those who believed in Jesus GOD, not man, gave the right for them to be called the children of God. And God does have the right to be generous in that calling for at Gods command and by His will the message that was preached FIRST to the Israelite's was sent to all nations. God has sent His message of salvation to the ends of the world which is found in our great savior Jesus Christ. A Son who is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of Gods being.
It is in Jesus that we live, are held together and are sustained forever. There is no other way. It is not for man to chose how to forgive sin.
