    I really enjoyed seeing Bob break. All those appearances on Letterman and Dave could never get him to.

    This is the first time that I've ever seen Bob break character. Pretty funny.

    This show was crazy ahead of it’s time.

    I came to remember Bob Einstein and ended up finding a childhood memory. The kind that stays with you all your life and you forgot where it came from. I started out watching this video and thought "I don't know why but is there a midget with a glove on his head in the trunk of that limo?"
    Then BAM! THAT'S WHERE THAT WAS FROM!

    Him slamming the trunk of the car and the blind guy crashing it with the little guy in it.

    Used to love “Bizarre”! John Byner and the Funk Man were insane together.

    The true story super told about this sketch is even crazier than the sketch itself. Checkout super on the Norm Macdonald podcast.

      Folks should just check out that podcast in general.

      Now, explain to the folks at home who Norm Macdonald is.

    Could this be the conception of Super Dave?

      @SidneyBroadshead Před rokem +2

      He first used Super Dave Osborne on the show _Van Dyke and Friends_ . He did more Super Dave sketches on other shows.
      I think he did some on Bizarre (or perhaps another show with John Byner). That's when they used the running gag of using only "genuine Saskatchewan Sealskin bindings".

    Funny. I do think a couple of these bits found their way into Seinfeld. The kid in the drawer and the blind driver.

    I've always wondered why John never appeared or at least did a cameo on The Super Dave Osborne Show.

    • @Gravydog316
      @Gravydog316 Před 4 měsíci

      mainly because John was doing other things in LA & Super Dave was filmed in Canada

    Hard to believe - a few decades ago - this was considered funny ...
    Nowadays - it's a sad pathetic and demented "norm"
