    I really felt the whole "cinnamon is a safe food." I don't know why but I compulsively add it to breakfast every single morning. Actually, whenever it is semi-appropriate, I need to do it.

    My
    Fear food- White rice, White bread, French fries, Potato chips, Fried noodles etc.
    Safe foods- Yogurt, boiled/steamed/stir-fried vegetables, Lentils, Beans, Most fruits, nuts and seeds.
    Favourite food- Sweetened yogurt, Vanilla ice cream, Noodles, Pasta, Apple, Lentil soup, Fried potatoes

    Fiber one's original cereal tastes bland and is 60 calories per serving. I think a serving is 1/2 cup. It tastes pretty good with some splenda and unsweetened almond milk 😘

      +Jasmine Goodson (intrextravert) Totally nuts about that stuff . Use it for Parfaits , bread crumbs and trail mix . Tried it in my banana ice cream this morning . Okay so wasn't one of my more successful experiments ha ha but Tastes just like gram crackers to me and so little calories its a miracle !!

    My safe foods definietly include cinnamon! Honestly add it to everything, natural probiotic yoghurt that I use as a sauce for everything and even for salads 😂 i can only eat small bananas like the really tiny ones otherwise I cut the big bananas in half and put it in the freezer (so weird I know), I associate apples as a half on half because they can make me feel really triggered and ice cream is definietly top of the list for my triggering foods to the point of where I'm almost about to cry (idk why)

    beans are a great safe food. cannot gain weight on beans. I put them on lot's of stuff, also cans of pure pumpkin. I like them together

    Safe food: zuchini, tomatoes, spinach, green beans, sellerie, other low calorie vegetables,
    Rasberies, strawberries, apple (max. 1 a day)
    Diet soda, coffee, low sugar chewing gum
    Favourite foods: pasta, chocolate, oatmeal, dough (that has yeast in it. Idk why but i crave it like crazy), cake, brownies, steak
    Fear foods: "unnecessary fats (oil, butter,...), pasta, bread, cheese, milk, dough, chocolate, cake
    (literally everything else)

    Massive bowl of brown rice, spinach and carrots and sweet potatoes. My favourite dinner.

    Going mostly omad/ keto has helped me a lot to overcome small amounts, like 1 tbsp butter / healthy fats fears like olive / coconut oil & avocado. Basically no more than the serving size & it goes into the bulletproof morning coffee.
    For ice cream it’s a bit of a procedure: I get a pint of Bryer’s Vanilla Carb Smart. Melt it slightly in the microwave till it’s soft. Then I’ll break up a couple 70-80% dark bakers chocolate bars into tiny pieces, mix that in, then some frozen berries mixed in. Take measuring spoons - the tiniest “pinch” or 1/8th tsp size - & the 1 tbsp size - I’ll take enough of the 1/8th size of ice cream concoction that would fill up a couple tbsps & that’s how I enjoy my ice cream, the whole pint lasts @ least a month or so by eating it in such small quantities @ a time. I’ve been in recovery for years but watching these videos I can see where I have some latent tendencies 🙃

    I LOVE fiber cereals too. And glad I am not the only stale bread liker. I love eating toast plain too. I'm weird. I like Kashi Go Lean, fiber one cereals, I like Multigrain cheerios too, oh and try Puffins original.

    Fruit and fiber is great (UK ASDA's/wallmart's own brand). The bran flakes don't taste like much and the fruit compensates for that. Yummy, healthy and fills you up ready for the day ahead. 20-30 grams gets (doesn't sound much but it's plenty to keep you going. I use that for work out days.

    OMG I feel like I'm you! Same for all the breakfast things, all bran is my fav! And breakfast was my first safe meal...and same for the bananas and I also comletely get the "maybe it's a favourite because it's safe!" It's funny how lot of people recovering from an ED are going to kind of the same stages of safe and fear foods..
    oiled and baked stuff is the worst for me too, and pasta and stuff, especially cheese and Butter...and I cant deal with butter at all. And I CAN'T have any sweets...
    and one question (if you don't want to answer thats okay): do you ever purge?

    Shreddies are my favorite cereal. I don't know if that's what your talking about when you say the cardboard cereal that's name you couldn't remember but I love it

    Heey:) im recovering for an ed as well haha so glad i found you!:) by the way you should definitely try the Barbara's Puffins cereal which is really healthy, low in sugars and it is really yummy! it also has healthy ingredients:) just letting you know

    The all bran is my favorite cereal besides shredded wheat with bran!! Also, Trader Joe's Raisin Bran is really good and there is no sugary sweet raisins just all naturally while and dry... it's so tasty and I don't like sweet their and so it tastes good and bland to me. The flakes are similar to the all bran flakes taste

    Probably the only cereal I can tolerate are like plain cheerios and mini wheats, and we have most of the same fear and binge foods haha.

    my only fear food left is everything fried, all the rest is pretty ok for me now but i used to be scared of everything except vegetables and fruit (no bananas, no mangos, no papaja ecc). you will eat with freedom eventually, don't worry :) stay positive, kisses PS: i LOVE cereals too

    Hey :) Just thought I would share my new fibre find: per 100kcal, kellog's allbran has 8.9g fibre, whilst uncle toby's bran plus has 12.6g! Definitely more cardboard-ey but if that's your thing.... :P
