    I like the normal/reverse ride thing. I often use it. But never try with a shifter. I don't use Ableton but I'm sure I'll find an alternative.

      @@audioreakt yeah and find some freewares. I mostly use Maschine as a DAW, I like its simplicity, but powerful, and its live ability. I will start soon to use Bitwig, I got the 8-tracks version as a gift, so why not. And this Bitwig looks fantastic !

    With each new tutorial we enjoy it more and more, great work, I find that your tutorials sound more and more! THANKS ! , a question for the lead sequence, do you use minor 2nd inversion chords by choice or by pure chance? what progression do you recommend? Thank you in advance and have a good weekend.

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Před 6 měsíci +1

      thanks, a would say chance, I mean I use push to create sequence and melody so when I am playing, I just try different combinaison of chord/notes until I find one I like.

      we all been there, this is tru for anything in life, any sports, hobby etc... but like sports and hobby you do it because you enjoy and it make you happy, feel good, noit to become especially a professional at it. Many people play football for fun, many music producer make music for fun too

  • @iamwildeofficial
    @iamwildeofficial Před 7 měsíci

    I have realised that for drums like hats, rides, etc you don't filter low frequencies. I found out that after applying saturation or overdrive to these sounds some low frecuencies appear and are adding unwanted stuff in that range. How do you deal with that?

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I'ts a track by track situation. It depend, the track, the samples the sounds etc... Sometime I will cut it because I feel eveything is too massy and it''s effective to clean, it help the track get less messy. But sometime when you cut it, it make the track feel weak/empty, and leaving it can help glue the whole mix. TBH I filter more often than I don't but it's really depend and each track will be different

    Do you still make your low end first off your monitors? Or headphones 🎧

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I do both, especially when processing the kick or selecting, I always use monitor first and then I check if its also ok on headphones. Because kick and low end I feel it's like where you headphone will lies the most to you,.

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Před 6 měsíci +1

      so many times happen I will do on headphiones first, sound amazing, then when I switched to monitors it's horrible. And I trust more the monitor are their reflect more how it will in other listening situations

      @@audioreakt what if you were in a untreated room & have neighbors next to you… what would you do at that point?

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Před 6 měsíci +2

      @@mrbass093 the I will do first headphone and then a quick checking on monitor, but always trust more the monitor than headphones, if the kick sound bad on the monitor then I change/modify it. That's why I prefer to do the kick on monitor because that's where it need to sound good first. For the groove and low end it's the same, try to compare /use reference with other track as much as you can
