0:01 Hey you!

2:37 Creating a (random) sequence

7:39 Workflows with Sequencers
12:22 Randomize Velocity
An cool trick, which I use it everytime when I want create hypnotic techno leads. I take an arpeggiator and set it to 1/8th and set it to random. Then I play randomly an chord. Then I take an delay and set it to dotted notes. The cool thing about it, the dotted delay fills up the 16ths. Thats for me the most interesting way for creating hypnotic stuff, instead your sequence or arp is set to 1/16th
Fantastic video! Hypnotic techno has always sounded so unattainable to produce, this is a great great start ❤
i start producing in Reason 1.01 long time ago and my main tool was MATRIX SEQUENCER (I love the RANDOMIZE) just like this type of techno you are doing in the video, nice to see there are options to other DAW's, I'm interested to know more VST´s or Live Devices that use these methods of sequencing, this is pure Techno.
Brilliant vid mate. Thanks.❤
Excellent video thank you! Not just the tool, but also how to use it. Especially how to capture it.
yes pls more hypnotic stuff!

Wow much comment. Much smart.
You really need to learn what polyrhythm means if you want to make tutorials like this. Just cuz your sequnenced line doesn‘t start on the 1 doesn‘t mean that it‘s polyrhythmic by any means.
He said polyrhythmic feeling ❤
@@pericvictoryyes and correct would be „syncopated feeling“
