You IDIOT!! They say there's 24 hours a day, because this is the approximate time frame it takes the earth to complete ONE rotation!! We KNOW there's about 12 hours of daylight & 12 hours of darkness, but this is only exact TWICE per year, during the equinoxes. Truth is we have slightly more daylight hours than hours of darkness for half the year, this then reverses. This is not governed by the rotation of the earth, it is governed by the earth tilting on it's axis, which is what governs our seasons. As each hemisphere tilts toward the sun, we have spring & summer. When the opposite happens, we have autumn & winter.

Evolution has been proven. Nice try though. "Theory" in science is not the same as "theory" in everyday language - that would be a "hypothesis". The Theory of evolution is the science behind evolution - ie natural selection etc. Evolution can in fact be observed, and has been proven to occur.
James Gallagher ok, you got all exsept the "hypothisis" part, a hypothisis is an *EDUCATED GUESS* of how something works through observation but without evedence and you have to test it before it becomes a theory, also the experiment has to be repeatable and can be changed by how much more we learn about the Universe (or Multiverse, really just depends, so... reality)
