I thought I would do a quick video on the settings I have my camera on when recording my wild camps.
I've put both day and night settings on here and hopefully it will help you guys with other makes of DSLR camera's too.

Can u add a night vision light bought to add on top cos mind seems to make no difference, i need a camer for complete dark not just an effect, proper night vision thank you.
Hello Shelly. I don’t use night vision but I do have a LED light that fits on the top along with my mic if that helps? There is a slot to fit such things if that’s what you mean.

Cracking camera I used to have the d3100 then d5300 and loved them. The colours were nice and lowlight was decent too. I'm now using the Panasonic g80 and that benefits from ibis and 4k but its alot harder work in lowlight which for us wildcampers is mainly when we record lol. Anyways thanks for sharing and keep them coming. Atb Steve
Outdoors Lifestyle hi Steve the more I use it the more I’m learning. I’ve never owned a quality camera so it’s all new to me but I’m getting there. I would love to have one that records 4K but for now I’m upscaling using Sony VegaS. Thanks for watching and commenting Steve. Cheers, Ant 👍
