Can't we set WB maually in Kelvin in nikon D3500 or other models of nikon??
Coz setting manually in kelvin is much kore easier than this.
I was confused whether this kelvin settings is missing only in nikon or any other dslr...!!!
so what do you pick for Led lighting? Also, my pure white background shows as a grey tint is that a white background adjustment?
For the preset manual mode, how do I let the camera know if the picture I'm choosing is one of a white card or of a gray card? how does it know?

Hey Lars, Unfortunately with the d5000 series you just eyeball it unless you use a meter - luckily there's apps and remotes for this

What if I dont have constant light? this woundlt work? I was called to take a few food photos and its low budget, is there anything i could do or just try to fix it in post? lol
Thanks Walter, yes if light source does not change this should work.

The WB of my Nikon D5200 doesn't change at all when following these steps.
I took a shot on a white paper, also on a red and a green paper, but when looking at the camera, the white balance feel is always the same

Sadly doesn't work. All white balance options are exactly the same on D3400.
Try to make your next video short and straight to the point....
