    Did any units use the plum furniture on their ak74s either folding stock or fixed stock? And do they also use plum mags frequently?

    • @RedIvanAirsoftEng
      @RedIvanAirsoftEng  Před rokem +7

      1) plum furniture is installed on all AKs produced since mid 80es, so the answer is obvious. 2) it was answered in the video.

    I have a question, I need for my loadout; did Naval regiment use Flora from 98? Horizontal pattern, or if someone who used 98 flora with 6b2?

    • @RedIvanAirsoftEng
      @RedIvanAirsoftEng  Před rokem +3

      Flora did not exist during the first Chechen war, and 6b2 was out of service by the second Chechen War, so I can only recommend to get Barvikha.

    Did Russian infantryman would tied up their bandage inside their AKS-74 buttstock as we usually seen in movies?
    Many of the rifle were seen in unfolding form with their bandage tied up.

    • @RedIvanAirsoftEng
      @RedIvanAirsoftEng  Před rokem

      Yes and no.
      It was common thing to tie bandage with esmarh tourniquet since Afghanistan and all the way until 2015-2016.
      But this way you are damaging the tourniquets and it may crash when you use it. So most professional units like Marines or VDV were told not to wrap by their commanders, so they would only have bandage inside the stock but with no wrapping.

      @@DoomerDoxy Yea you would probably be better off wearing some cap/bandana than an SSh-68. I dont think it would be such an issue to not have a helmet for a kit for practical reasons. If some well trained recon soldiers and such up all the way to the 90's and beyond fought without helmets then i dont think its all that important. Especially in some SHTF type scenario where artillery is not used since helmets mostly protect from shrapnel anyways.
