The tradition of warping the tourniquet on the stock was continued due to the ease of access during combat. Soldiers would wrap the tourniquet before operations and would remove them afterwards to ensure the integrity of the tourniquet was maintained. Ps love the videos man keep it up.
Actually not, I spoke to several Afghanistan veterans after my videos and they said “we know that the tourniquet will crack under sun light, but we did not care and those who smart carried two, the purpose of the tourniquet on the stock was to save the face of the shooter from burn from hot, steel stock and make more comfortable shouldering”.

@@RedIvanAirsoftEng I can send photos of the one I own and references to your email, it's quite a unique piece, most guys wore it with some version of 6sh92 load bearing equipment and no armor.

Mostly unofficially
Nice video. I have some comments on the 6Sh92 though, the pattern is not actually flora but a Les derivative, so it would be more accurately described as Arid Les. The portable walkie talkies are usually Horizon Corporation Standard HX290's or Motorola GP-300's.
It is far from Les as much as it is far from flora. So in reality it is distinct experimental pattern. In Russian collector’s circles it is called mountain pattern, or mountain-arid pattern, military guys call it simply mountain flora, so I am repeating the common terminology.

Where do the VOG/mag pouches go on the 6sha92?
Normally it goes on the sides of the belt. But if you are skinny like me you won’t have enough space for them.

I use airsoft baofeng, it is not period correct, but practical. They used Motorolla
