Both seem to be almost equally happy, the only difference is that the plant in my bedroom is a bit smaller.

something that i think is worth mentioning is that you don't necessarily have to say goodbye to toxic plants if you have pets! i have two cats and many plants that are considered toxic or even straight up poisonous to cats, and that's because my babies aren't the type to eat things they shouldn't be eating nor are they climbers or jumpers, so there's not a concern for them consuming the foliage or hopping up somewhere to reach at a plant they aren't supposed to reach. i placed out some non toxic plants on the floor in areas they typically spend most of their time in and then watched how they reacted to them. they sniffed at them like cats usually do and then immediately lost interest. make sure to keep the plants there for a couple of nights so you can examine the foliage for little nicks and scrapes from kitty teeth. if you have missing leaves or considerable leaf damage on the plant then it's best to stay away from toxic plant babies. if there's minimal damage or none at all, then it's probably safe to keep a toxic plant but out of reach just to start. my cat honey bee enjoys chewing a leaf of some of the plants i bring home but i'm not worried because she would need to actually consume parts of the plant to be affected by it, and even then the worst that would happen with her habits is an upset tummy or a runny poop.
i've had toxic plants around my home for a few months now and both my fur and plant babies are happy and healthy!

I just bought my string of hearts. It does not exist in any garden centers here and I don't live anywhere near any specialized nurseries or plant shops, so I ordered it online through amazon and I am so relieved that it came in in wonderful condition. The packaging was amazing and while it was quite expensive for tiny two inch pot I am gonna make sure she pays off. I'll definitely be propagating her and eventually selling/giving away some rooted cuttings locally so that way more people in my area will have them.

Good on you for making a video and informing people what they can own with pets.
I'm very careful of knowing about the plants that enter my home after my dog died from ingesting a mysterious weed. It's a weird mulberry sapling looking-plant that grew in our garden. My mom thought it looked nice and brought it in. I asked a bunch of people on Reddit what it was because I can't find anything when I did my desk research. They berated me for calling it a weed, told me all plants need love and won't answer my question. My dog got to it soon after. Our region was in full lockdown due to COVID-19 so she died by the time we were able to bring her to the vet. I still don't know what that plant was but my mom threw it away out of grief afterwards and I left Reddit because I was so pissed at the people there.
Lesson learned, know what plants you're bringing into your home, and if you know someone who has a question about a plant that you know the answer to, just answer it. I don't want another pet dying from snowflake plant parents.

Hey, what kind of soil mix do you use for your houseplants?

I really need your help! I have a plant I'm trying to revive so bad. It looks like ivy but the leaves are much smaller and they have tiny tiny needles on the edge. Could you maybe guess what it is? Do you need more details? It liked the average indirect sun and watering like ivy.

My cats keep my String of Hearts nicely trimmed. I propagate any strings that I find on the floor!

One of my birds got into a P. Selloum a few years ago. He chewed quite a lot of it before I caught him. 100% my fault and I have to live with the fact that I killed my little Asa. I usually don't let any plants near my birds, but I have the C. Woodii hanging near them and the damned thing keeps vining toward their cage. I just chop it because I can't find any definitive proof that it won't hurt Boo and Ami. As for the cat, she doesn't chew any of them or play with them, but she does like to rub against the cacti, especially those with the two inch spines. It gives me fits. She doesn't hurt herself, but it takes time off my life.

I’m lucky that my cat doesn’t bother my plants at all 😂 but I still try to keep my toxic ones where she can’t go.
