You don’t have to hold it. I have a Dodge Charger with push to start and i don’t hold it I just hit it and the car starts no holding

As the neighborhood mechanic my neighbors with German cars will invite me to dinner because they want me to take a look at their car. Whereas my neighbors who drive Toyota and Hyundai invite me to dinner just because they like me.
I think people just go and look at cars and purposely leave the key in it to let the battery die. Just stupid

Some people do it so nobody buys it which helps them win that vehicle because they know it works perfectly

From what I've read the 2007 Camary is a lemon. It has major problems with engine sludging.
Hail cars, theft cars or dealer cars seem like they can be some of the best cars to look for in the right cases

That 7 series is solid if the transmission was serviced. 4.4 v8 or 4.8 v8 most likely.
No oil leaks which is great, that thing might have been a hidden gem

its in copart for a reason mostly likely did not get that transmission job and now it will cost as much as a brand new one for repairs.

Randy, I like the 2011 Taurus. The hole in the rear of the roof is where the antenna goes. It needs the antenna sourced from pull apart or LKQ. That would explain the water damage in the headliner. Please show more Pontiac G8 or GTO’s. They are my drug (car) of choice. Hello from Phoenix Arizona!
I would say look into the Audi Q5 but if it goes too high, go for the 07’ beamer

Randy, I bought an 09 lancer gts with a busted windshield and bad tires for $500, it has 126k miles, clean title. What do you think about putting a windshield in and new tires and putting it on turo?
Do the seats on the BMW lay down? Sometimes that's how I peek in the trunk when the battery is dead.
I think somebody looks and likes a car so they leave the ignition on so when the next person looks at it, its dead. Makes the next person very questionable about it

Randy, I bought a BMW 330CI coupe from Copart even though many people told me not to get it. I'm glad I did. Even though it had work to be done, I don't regret getting it. That 750 LI is nice. Charge the battery, get it started and decide.

I love the white on the Sonatas! As you see by my picture. Our 2015 Sonata burned a lot of oil. So I wouldn’t be surprised if that one does too.

The electric motor you saw on the valve cover is a VVEL motor that is basically like vvt bmw v8s have it too and some other cars but vvel mean variable valve event and lift
Buy the SHO. Changed the PTO fluid and take people to Gapplebees in it. Tune it and really take people to gap-city LOL
QX80 is a 70,000 dollar vehicle when new. That large piece in the cam cover is most likely the solenoid for Variable Valve Timing. The ECU uses it to alter the cam timing to tailor the power delivery to the current circumstance.

Auto Auction Rebuilds not bitching at all...been subbed for just about 6 months and just was wondering. Can't get enough of your walk-arounds...love looking at these cars with you. No offense seriously...I see you are very careful with what you buy, but man, take a step outside of your comfort zone. A big risk will bring big rewards. But then again, we are talking about your money. Love what you do and definitely a part of my nightly entertainment.

That's a gorgeous Bimmer, but that generation of 7-series is an absolute reliability nightmare, even by BMW standards. The history of dealer service is excellent- especially on German cars, that's a major plus. But that Q5! That's the best engine Audi ever put in the Q5, and the car looks super clean!

Does anyone know if copart leaves cars with busted windows like from hail uncovered, where it sits for months and rain gets in, or do they cover the broken windows and only take the covers off to take photos?

Socio Listo I know when I try buying cars a lot of time they are on approval and the people selling them want too much for them. A lot of times after fees their minimum bid put the total cost at or over retail for a non salvage car. At that point you will lose your shirt on it.

I bid on my 07 X3 R&D. Had all the service records, car-fax, and a dead batter of course. - Jumped it, and after clearing our some stale fuel, she runs like a champ. 2k I paid, but again it's a personal vehicle, soon to be flip when I find an X5. So many little easter-eggs in these vehicles that you won't find in American cars. - The paint seems more like a defect from sun exposure than anything. Ping me if you've got a Q.

I saw you get out of the Taurus and thought NOT AGAIN! Leave the Driver window down, if you lock the doors you can still get in! That is what a lot of repair shops do.
