Even Mercedes did crazy stuff, and still do, when it comes to the amount of stuff you have to take off, to do small maintenance work. A VW Passat you need to take the entire front of the car off, to change the thermostat… Replacing a $15,- part is hours of labour… And it is German. Remove radiator, bumper, front lights….

Couldn't help but notice that at the end of the video, you were filming in a cemetery. Is that a hint about the future of the Viper ? LOL Ferrari Mondial or Viper ? Quite honestly the Mondial is a boring, and somewhat goofy looking car so I would pick the Viper based on looks. Pininfarina has designed some absolutely gorgeous cars over the years, and Ferrari has built them, but the Mondial isn't one of them in my opinion...

I've never really been a big fan of the Vipers. I don't have anything against them, I've just always been a Corvette fanatic since I was a kid, and I'm 62 years old now... That said, that really is a sharp looking car. I like the wheels. The first few years had some funky looking three spoke style wheels. I thought those were really ugly and looked cheap, but the car certainly wasn't... I do like the way they did the stacked small gauges on the dash and the white background. That's cool. I've never really cared for the sound of the V-10 engine or exhaust either. It's different.

I'm not a big Viper fan. That said I think you got a deal and will enjoy watching you sort it out.

Have you priced the body panels for this car? They are crazy expensive. But its a much better choice than than the Ferrari mondial.

I have a '14 Porsche Cayman S with PDK and I'm very happy with it. I really want to hold onto it for a few more years for two reasons: First of all, I want to see what the new ELECTRIC Porsche Cayman is going to be like, which comes out next year. I have solar panels on my house, so I could basically drive for free, not that I care about the cost of gas while I drive a car that will get 31 mpg on the highway. But the real reason that I won't entertain buying any big ticket items this year? The potential election of Donald Trump. What he has said he wants to do will likely cause a massive upheaval in the economy, and while I am decently paid, have no mortgage, no car payment, and the kids are out of college....I still want to maintain the massive chunk of coin [I could buy a Countach right now with cash] that I currently have in the bank. I've never driven a Viper but I've been told this is nothing to mess with; There are NO electronic nannies and I have NO high performance drivers training. Make sure the road that is in front of you is straight and wide before you stomp the "loud" pedal..... Great video!

buy the cng civic but expect to replace either the tank valve or the fuel pressure regulator the regulator is a expensive part new but there are used ones available cheap the tank valve would be something you should have a cng tech replace as i believe it requires the fuel tank to be emptied i have had 4 civic cng's they are great reliable cars .. the last one i had i sold a few months ago and it had 318K miles on it

Can you tell me why the Transmission Select Lever skips 2nd gear ? Watch the 1:23 mark and you will see the gear selector says 1st, 3rd., 4th., D with Overdrive ! I just brought my new 2000 Freightliner MT45 (FedEx) Step Van home yesterday. Mine has the Cummins 5.9 24 valve engine also. 373,000 (no Blowby) Starts and runs like a Swiss Watch ! 6 Spare wheels with very nice tires ! I paid a few hundred $ less than you ! *FJB !*

These were infamous for having bad head gaskets and had gasket failures that could be why the radiator hose is bulging getting exhaust gases into the cooling system! The car wizard had to do his head gaskets on his viper as well

I've always been a lover of Ferraris, but I can say with complete certainty that the performance on the Viper will absolutely blow away what you would have gotten with a Mondial T. When it comes to bang-for-the-buck, it's pretty tough to beat a Viper.
