Randy, you are a trip. Working your tail off to keep us entertained. What a great example of having goals.
He does it for a living
I see you got that red C3. So excited for the videos on that car
Am I dreaming, ONE HOUR OF COPART!!!!???
"SC" doesn't stand for "supercharged," but "street custom," which adds 10 features not found on the old-folks Element.
That challenger is really good for diy gang
I have always been a sucker for a Rolls.
The police car behind the RR looks cool
I agree
show the policecar
I LOVE the Rolls!!!! A long time ago, I worked in a body shop and the owner of the shop did some minor key scratch repair on one. I got to drive the 1983 Rolls 90 miles to return it!!!!! It was the smoothest 75 mph ride you could imagine!!!! That car is on my bucket list, but I doubt it will ever happen?
I bet is like the fantasy island on wheels lol.
You are always so good about making sure there is a lot of material when you go away. Thank you. That's a lot of work on your part so we have something to watch. Way to go!
Why do u always say "Hail Damage",it could have been a crazy girlfriend with a hammer. 😡
He prolly says that cause the area he lives in is more prone to hail damage than a girl with a hammer lol idk tho u could be right there brother
Laughed so hard at this comment. The Midwest is known for hail damage.
@@thomassmith6027 "Projecting my life onto who's? Who exactly did I say their G.F. had a hammer? If you trying to be witty at least make sence or stfu.
@@kevinsantos1590 Gotcha.
Maybe an H.A. member got revenge!!
Great work Randy ! Hope you enjoyed your vacations 😋😊
One of the longest walk arounds that i remember. What a treat. Thanks for doing it. Very entertaining!
Hyundai Genesis 2.0t. I'm so sick of working on those damn things! Did a motor swap and 3 days later the kid blew the head gasket so it's back in my shop. His mom's going to beat his ass if it needs another engine. Can't wait to see what's warped.
The charger with no motor would make beast project
I agree. Don't know if possible at all but that S430 sure has a nice engine (if good) rest of the car is crap anyway
the audi q7 was my uncles and the issue with it is it has a bad alternator and loses about a quart of oil a week. on a trip to arkansas he was side swiped by some older lady.
im from edmond by the way ive seen you a few times around the metro :)
55 MINUTES!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥😊😊😊 😍😍😍
U got the c3 awesome
Longer videos!!! Wooooooo hooooo
The Rolls-Royce is lovely but fixing that damage is going to be second mortgage territory. These really weren't mass-produced cars built up from mass-produced panels so there aren't loads of panels available for them, and even if there were there is a good chance they would require a huge amount of attention and adjustment to fit properly as these were hand-built cars and every one is slightly different to the next. That means that repairing bodywork is an extremely time-consuming job. I also suspect that under the panel damage you will find significant damage to the A-post which is going to be very difficult and expensive to repair properly. To give you an example, about 20 years ago a good, salvaged wing/fender for a Silver Shadow II was at least £1,000 ($1,500) and it would be pretty average to expect to have to put in 40-50 hours of bodywork to adapt it to fit properly on another car, so even at $50 an hour (which I suspect is very cheap for good bodywork) that's another $2,000 to $2,500. A good, salvaged door shell was £2,000 upwards ($3,000+) and the parts were in very short supply, the largest Rolls-Royce breaker in the UK was talking about waiting lists of several years for the most common parts. That wrecked door trim will cost huge amounts to repair well, the wood capping is probably going to have to be remade from scratch and then veneered. Yes, you can get book-matched veneer from Rolls-Royce as they maintain stocks of the veneers used in each vehicle but it is expensive, you're likely to be looking at about £1,500 for enough to do that door capping. And there's also the fact that 20 years ago the Silver Shadow wasn't a particularly desirable car. Now the values have gone up to the point where it is worth people restoring them. That means that fewer rusty cars will be getting broken for parts and there is going to be much more demand for what recycled parts are available. It wouldn't surprise me at all if you would be looking at £10,000 ($15,000) just in parts to put that car back together...
built 6 miles from where i live
in crewe, cheshire, UK
Its now the Bentley plant for the UK
@@jimlad24 Yes, it would have been. I remember the signs you'd see entering the area used to say "Entering the borough of Crewe and Nantwich, home of the finest cars in the world..."
@@gosportjamie we see still see brand new Bentleys on the road's on there test drives.. £250,000 + some people have far to much cash to spend lol
@@jimlad24 I can't help but agree with that when modern Bentleys are as reliable as, well, a modern Volkswagen...
The Tribecca was Subaru's black sheep 7500$ is what i would expect to buy one for private party, they're big gas guzzlers and expensive and didn't sell well for subaru. they put the H6 from the Legacy/Outback in it and thats about its highest point. Boxer motors are just a different layout of motor like an inline or a V motor. its in good shape. Any day of the week a Subaru outback the same year will sell way higher. The tribecca would make a good winter car for a ritzy person or an alternative to a Tahoe
This was the perfect youtube video. not too short, not too long, great content. keep up the great work Tim
How can you walk past that g wagon😭
I was just about write the same! Fuuuck i was wating sooo bad to see it :,(
If it's not on auction that week he's not allowed to film it.
Yea mann same opinion here 😂😂💯 Poor G
Ian Maier idk i wanted to see it too
cause g wagen bad
17:32 this would be great for "D.I.Y Gang", a complete shell just without the engine and exhaust
I thought the same thing
would also be a great ev conversion
My friend's Tribeca lasted to 220K, my sister is still driving my Impreza at 90K with regular maintenance. Though the AWD hurts the gas mileage for sure, which is why they're popular in snow regions but not down south.
I have a '95 Liberty with nearly 400,000 miles on it,still runs beautifully.
Great Walk Around 👏👏👏Always enjoy them 👍 It’s a trip how many cars there are in these places...
Randy: “it’s unique”
Me: “no, *its a door hinge* “
A 1 Hour Copart Walk-around LETS GO
I was just at copart in OKC seen few cars I like and trucks thank you for encouraging me about copart and learning from you
Ahhh yes I love these videos keep them coming
I agree with you about looking at the wrecks on how they used to be
The Rolls belonged to a friend of mine. The car has hydraulic failure ( which means no brakes and no self-leveling suspension estimate to repair hydraulics $5,000-8,000 has to been done by a Rolls Royce Specialist). Car was being driven when hydraulics failed and had to be towed. When tow truck driver was lowering car(remember no brakes at all) He released it from the truck too fast and the car rolled back hit a post in the garage bending the driver's door forward. Brake Fluid is unique to Rolls from 1965-80 and is on back order, take 8 litres of brake fluid(also powers the suspension) @$32/litre plus shipping
Epic video Randy! Thanks, enjoyed it.
vacation did you well, great vid today!
Another gr8 video my day is fulfilled great work so much enjoy your videos
Love this Randy! Much respect! ✌
Anyone else miss the 'carnage' videos? I do, hence why I'm watching this, months later for the second time. I find it, interesting. :)
Hell yeah. Been ready for another walk around
Omg an hour video, so excited
I have a Subaru Forester 2016, and love it! Great reliable vehicle!
Side Pipes are so 1980's 😎
Somebody won a car just like this on The Price is Right.
Most coparts around me doesn't allow to bring personal booster, but most of them allows to borrow their booster and walk around with it. I always carry little lithium booster pack in my pocket as well, because their boosters sometimes can't crank the car. If I'm looking something to bid on - I also have the diagnostic plug and my tablet - saved me few times :)
"Unfortunately, dead as a door nail...!" hahaha, thanks for all the videos dude!!!
Yes a new video of my favorite CZcamsr
Warm Regards from Costa Rica, nice content!!!
9:10 G-WAGON!!!
Hi Randy. Greetings from Pakistan
I think the Tribeca would be a good bet. Looks well maintained. The AWD and 3rd row would make someone a great winter driving vehicle. I drive a Subaru and have loved it since day 1.
Its a 1975 A.M.C pacer with side exhaust lol:-) thank you for the video can't wait till thenext next
I just got a 2012 Subaru tribeca back in may last year and it is the best car I have ever owned before and very smooth and very fast and I get 650-700km of fuel range on highway and around 400km around town
The Tribeca was great you should have bought it. 3.6 L 256 HP Horizontal 6 there were problems with the earlier miles but sense its at 94,000 you're in the clear but definitely a good find
Your cold we are -25 here in good old Wisconsin lol
We are at negitive 40 in ohio I'll love to come up to 25
Same here in ohio
goldfox177 -35 in michigan
A good and long post sir ty.
Welcome back!
Thanks for answering a question like that I always wondered why no booster pack
Caddy for me !!! New seats a good service and awesome vehicle
A great long car video !!! More more more!
Seeing that tribeca reminds me of when I was like 9 when my mom bought one in 2012. Same color combo too. Love that car. And it was a limited just like that one. Only difference was that it had nav, sunroof and the DVD player on ours.
What about the Monte Carlo next to the Protege at 31:04?
Randy, you know whom to call with those Escalade/Tahoe/Silverado cluster repairs, right? :)
55 mins oh damn 🔥🔥
A Stingray with sidepipes. Sweet.
16:31 DIY Gang SHOULD GET THIS CAR! also 1 hour Co-part video thank you so much♥
I love wagons and would buy that Protege no problem. Worked at a Mazda dealer when these were new. The Protoge and 626 were great cars. Reliable, high gas mileage and just a real good daily driver.
nice walk-a-round
It could be the evaporative purge control solenoid. Its a common problem with the GM 3.6 liter V6. The part is $20 on Amazon for a delco part.
What happened to your 2017 Mustang GT ??
@@rftsfan1479 I forgot about that 😅😅
congrats on the new corvette btw
I bought a Cadillac Escalade truck like that brand new. White 3 stage paint brought it back 2 months later the check engine light kept coming on nothing but problems..
Taking bets on how long it takes Randy to roast his leg hair off on the vette side pipes.
Watching from Kenya I really love your videos I just wonder why you didn't show us the G class merc behind the escalade
He filmed it on purpose it seems
idk hopefully he shows us next time
Hillbilly here and damn proud of it.
Good stuff
Check out the Lincoln navigator 2018
It a red c3 Corvette
that tribeca was cool i would have that in a flash, pity its l hand drive cause i live in australia bugga
Yeah you're looking at over 20k in our Australian money for a 2013 Tribeca ,nice car though.
If I were you but I would keep an eye on that Cadillac because my moms Yukon Denali with that 6.0 vortec and hers has 360,000 miles on its original motor and it runs like a dream and it only uses about a half of a quart for every 6,000 miles. I get that you think it’s dirty but it’s definitely something to look out for. Plus you can find parts for them just about everywhere.
Prefect challenger for DIY Gang!
Coming up on Hoovie's Garage: "I just bought the cheapest Rolls-Royce Shadow."
I would be curious how much it would be out the door for that Protogé. I think there is some potential.
I love the long videos
Gorgeous new (old) vette
Imagine buying a Hemi Challenger sight unseen and opening the hood to see... the ground staring back at you. Wow.
U got the c3 awesome
Aww man that caddy is really nice! The problem is only bad spark plugs, simple as that but seems scary and flashes the cel. Maybe a pcv replace atp. I fixed that by dumping diesel without plugs of inside chamber.
Looks like a 70’s Corvette with “Saturday Night Fever” side pipes!
You cannot beat the Roller!!!
3:44 The suspension damage on that champagne colored Mercedes-Benz S430 😱. Plus the flat tire on the S430 at 5:21.
It’s a red c3 corvette I saw it on your instagram love your videos
Dang that RR was pretty nice.
2:40 "smells like rich in here"
31:04 That Mazda SW is very nice! 1rst to see one of those .
Forget the others. Go for that Rolls!
In your video, when you showed the white Dodge Charger, in the background was an 8th Gen. Honda Civic, coupe. Burnt orange in color. Can you tell me if it is an SI? I've been looking for one in that color. Next time you are at the Copart yard can you review it for me.
What about buying the carnage Charger and putting the engine in the Challenger? Well, I have no idea what engine the Charger has though.
To few people buy two cars and make one out of 2. The Ford Focus might be an example as well: Buy it and wait for a cheap donor car to show up. A lot of leftover parts could be sold off to pay part of the repairs. This Mazda is a good cheap daily driver for someone: Japanese cars in general are more reliable than most European cars. Maybe it will run an other 100 000 miles without big problems.
Charger has V6 unforunately.
What about the Audi A6 by the element?
Another corvette of course. Of course I follow you on Instagram! No Rolls Randy!
I need a vacation, now!
The biggest thing to watch out for on that Mazda Protege is floor and structural rot. Other than that they're pretty tough and definitely capable of doing plenty more miles than that. That one looks like it was a pretty sporty variant so I would imagine that engine will be the 2.0 litre which is a really good lump, I know a couple of people who have 626s with that lump that have gone well past 300,000 miles without mechanical problems...
Did you get that vet to flip or keep?
I love the Audi q7
I lost a Fiesta ST last week at copart :) ... But the older model of ST than wasnt in the US. I wanted to show it on video but it sold for 2250 before fees repair atc. (car worth 3000- 3500) Hope i will get some intresting next time. :) Have a nice day Randy :)
