You know, I listen to black metal on a daily basis: Mayhem, Dark Funeral, Funeral Mist, Behexen, Dodsfall etc, etc. They're all so serious and evil. it's actually refreshing to see black metallers and "The Godfather of Black Metal" himself actually joking around and having fun. Brings a bright side to the genre. Much respect to Venom. Ave to having a laugh with the dark side! Hails \m/

Yeah their market isn't strong here in the US as it is elsewhere. It was never really strong here to begin with, except for the early 80s when they inspired most of the thrash bands. They've always been a band known for their partying and their brutal honesty. Though lineups have changed, the core of Venom has never shifted, still a band true to themselves

@@worshiptheanimal Abaddon stopped, but for Mantas is still with "Venom Inc". Saw them with Abbadon. Tony Dolan plays the bass and does the vocals. I actually much prefer Venom Inc. live nowadays compared to Venom.

Mantas now has a band called M-pire of evil and Abaddon I'm not so sure. Mantas' band was supposed to play around here in Pennsylvania with Raven and Sinister Realm on the 21'st of October but he had trouble with his visa so they cancelled.

Anyone has their own choices. But when it comes to metal..there's no such thing as "Beautiful rainbows,make up and colorful flowers" to look feminine. As far as the heavy metal music is concern, there's no room for false ones. And metal isn't a fairy tale full of Barbie fucking story..it's about thickness, talent,passion, horror, heavy, speed, death and etc. I love venom all my life and they contributed well in the heavy metal genre.
