It was Carlos, Kevin DuBrow, Frankie Banalli and a bass player who I forget. It was in a club in Philadelphia called the Chestnut Cabaret. I've always been a big fan of Carlos and I was totally psyched to see him. I don't know exactly why, probably shitty marketing and whatever, but there was literally 4 people in the club. It was low budget as well. They were touring in a beat up old Winnabego RV with a little U Haul trailer for equipment and gear... It was fucking crazy man. But I'll tell you man, that whole night I was right in front of Carlos and he sounded fucking smoking. He played a black Les Paul Custom all night through two full Marshall stacks (2 100 watt heads with 4 4X12 cabinets with 25 watt Celestions). He played wicked fucking loud. It sounded awesome man. I mean loud like King Eddie Van Halen or Pete Townsend. Carlos sounded great - total control and authority over his rig man. A consumet professional who knew exactly what he was doing... With only 4 people in the crowd he played his ass off and sounded great. I have a great deal of respect for Carlos Cavazo... When he talks he's humble and honest and I will always wish him the best in his career for sure.

'Cum On Feel The Noize' still sounds good today. The performance caught for that track has some a great swing to it, IMO. I stuck out of the house to go to their concert back in the early 80s.
. I got to meet the band. That was an outdoor concert in the afternoon, Providence RI and something horrible happened to one of the concert goers. I wonder if Carlos or Rudy remember the incident sometimes. I asked Rudy one time and he say yes. I met Rudy a couple more times after that concert at other events, and gatherings. Rudy is a sweetheart., he signed a couple of pics for me that day, one for my best friend who was in the hospital fighting anorexia who was his biggest fan. I was so sad when I had heard of Kevin and Frankie's deaths, such good talent. May they rest in peace. And may Rock and Roll live Forever!
