Suzuki Burgman 400 Headlight Experiment. Can we make it twin dipped beam?

- I recently acquired a 2012 Suzuki Burgman 400 and I wondered if it’s possible to make both headlights in dipped beam a instead of just the one as standard.
The 2012 Suzuki Burgman 400 uses an H7 single filament bulb in the left headlight for dipped beam and an H4 bulb using only the main beam filament in the right headlight as standard.
In this video I perform a short experiment using an H4 LED bulb in the right headlight as both a dipped headlight and then as a main beam. If this experiment was successful then I will make up a loom to use both headlight lenses as dipped beam. I will make a more in depth video if this goes ahead.
It might be interesting to some but if not, thanks for watching anyway. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Hi Simon,
What a difference the LED makes wow, if your doing another video on this please can you show the before and after looking at the front of the Burgman? I didn’t know only one headlight illuminated.
Best Wishes
Paul
Can you do a or let me know how to change accelerator cable on a 110 vision please? Got to do one on Wed on my brothers moped. Done mechanicing as a sideline with my dad since I was 11 yrs old (now 45) lol. So know my way around a garage. Cheers in advance. John from Manchester
🙄 no, I can’t make a video for this John. If you like, you can use the other videos I have made to see how to take the panels off and how the cable is routed. It’s not a hard job that one.
That looks good Simon and works well. I would think it would easily pass an mot either the leds
I’ll get a set of H7 LED bulbs now then Sean. That’s the next step.
@@scootyman2974 can't wait to see the results Simon 👌
I just bought a 2012 Burgman 400 and I also have only one low beam. It looks as if something's wrong and i want to convert it to two low beams. I don't care if there's only a single high beam. Do you have any info on how to do it? Thanks.
Dip beam...????
It worked fine on both dip and main. I sold the bike too so it’s no longer a project that I’m playing with. Might be having a go at improving the lights on my Pan European soon though.
Best regards
@@scootyman2974 I don't know what Dip beam means....but I'm in Texas. Here it's high beam or low beam. Good video tho.
