Gert loves his Dutch masters, and his performance of them (especially this one) is so dreamy.
Love surrounds them, so beautiful to see. And the music just gets better and better.
Stunningly beautiful! What an amazing performance! This one sure pulls at the heartstrings. As Gert is half way through Psalm 108 he glances at Marjolein to make sure she is OK and receives a reassuring smile. :)

The intensity of the repeated crescendos in this little-known piece is truly outstanding.
Brilliant! Mulder was a great composer and its good that Gert is playing and popularising his works.
Yes, but not only that! KJM has inspired him over the years, time after time, with everything he is playing.

EXCELLENT artistry of interpretation and performance... including rallentandos and crescendos. It is extremely impressive how Gert is developing into such a great performer... how he continues to blossom. He reminds me of a great talent, David Spicer, in SO many ways. I see a great future for Gert. He just simply OWNS the instrument!!

This is how I like to end my evening listening to quality music played by an extraordinaire organist, Gert. You have outdone yourself and I am loving all of the close up of your hands and feet in action. Love the tempo of this Psalm 108. The ending had me out of my chair. 😬😬😬 Such precision. Kudos to Marjolein as well. Thumbs up.

@@TerryP1922 We flew to London for a few days. From there took a train to Amsterdam, then another train to Castricum. We walked into the church carrying our suitcases. :) We did have a nice chat with Gert and his wife. We found out we share a love of organ, but more importantly a love of Jesus.

Klaas Jan Mulder is an absolute legend in The Netherlands. Sadly past away too soon, but. left behind a heritage in music. Also great that new organ talents like Gert keep the organ music alive.

Hoewel ik ook hier onder de indruk ben van het prachtige orgelspel mis ik net dat bijzondere stukje Mulder-Magie: waarbij het orgel gaat "zingen"! En jij kan dat ook, zoals hier: czcams.com/video/9VcruF4_pFQ/video.html Uiteraard speelt daarbij ook het orgel, de akoestiek en de opnametechniek een rol...

Van mij mag je de bladweergave wel wat meer los laten. Anders is het zo strak en beperk jij je zelf tot naspelen.
