- Koraalfantasie over Psalm 108 van de bekende Nederlandse organist Klaas Jan Mulder (1930-2008), gespeeld op het Van Oeckelenorgel in de St. Hippolytuskerk te Middelstum (NL).
Het orgel is aan restauratie toe, welke gepland staat in 2021. Dit is te horen in deze opname, o.a. divers ontstemt pijpwerk, problemen met de tractuur en een hanger.

Thank you Jerry! This is a typical Dutch instrument - specially for leading church congregations in the 19th and early 20th century.
Hi. I used to play on that organ when I was visiting my parents whom sadly both have passed on. I remember the steep stairs - the very friendly caretaker of the church- who lived right next to the church- a beautifull organ in a magnificent church ! And also a very good organ player ! But in my opinion the organ - keyboards etc- could use some work....I surely will always remember this church and Middelstum ! Thank you Gerwin !!
Thank you for sharing this interesting story! I visited Middelstum last summer and heard from the caretaker that the organ will get maintained in the coming period. That is needed, but still a very interesting instrument to play on.

I would love to hear more organ out of that church. Also the " Gereformeerde Kerk Vrijgemaakt " aan de Boerdamsterweg in Middelstum has a beautiful 1 manual- pedal pipe organ
that even Martin Mans came down to play on for its inauguration. It is a jewel of an organ. Maybe you want to play that one too ? And there is the one in Bedum ( Goede Herder Kerk ) and the one in Schildwolde ( Vrijgemaakte
