- This is my very first time ever seeing the Final Smashes for Smash Bros Ultimate. A lot of amazing cinematography and love went into these! I am really impressed and would love to learn more about the origins of the characters and these final smashes.

Which final smash is your favorite?
My favourite is final smash is Villagers, because it's funny just building a house in the middle of the fight. Plus, it implies whoever is caught in it ends up in debt to Tom Nook, the tanooki loan guy from the Animal Crossing series.

The creature in Bayonetta's final smash is Gomorrah, her main infernal demon summon from the first Bayonetta game. A lot of the final smashes in Ultimate are homages to the games they originated from, like Incineroar's being it's Incinium Z move from Pokemon Sun and Moon, or Ness' being PK Starstorm, one of the strongest moves in Earthbound.

There are three kinds of Mii Fighters. Brawler, Swordfighter, and Gunner. What looked like Cuphead and Sans were just Mii Gunner costumes, that's why they had the same Final Smash. I don't know why whoever made this video tried to go for those fakeouts. The last two in the video were the Brawler and Swordfighter respectively, if that wasn't obvious already.
I don´t understand why people count Sans and Cyphead costumes as separate characters from Gunner. I know they are both popular but is confusing for the new players and as an old player I found it wierd they consider them as unique characters.
In star fox, Fox and his friends are mercenaries. Well, Wolf is the leader of a rival mercenary gang. They usually side with the bad guys but sometimes they change sides and help Fox. They are usually not depicted as inherently evil, but ruthless. They accept almost any work, while Fox has a code.
So you could say Wolf is closer to be an antihero. A Vegeta, just for Starfox.
Personally I'd say Wolf represents a more traditional merc, while Fox could be called a freelancer by comparison.
Yes, when Peach uses her special,, the peaches are healing items. Her special is particularly powerful in team battles, you get to heal a companion or both of you have more chances to fully destroy someone with a direct attack. At least that's my impression when playing.
You could also try to make someone fall asleep in mid-air and make them fall off the stage.
If there's anything I really don't like about the video that was reacted to, it's that all of the final smashes are out of order, some are repeated, and the Street Fighter characters who have 2 final smashes have their other final smash shown in an entirely seperate part of the video
Captain planet was amazing, I still sing their summon from time to time XD, I don't remember every character but I remember the one with the heart ring. Because he was the last to talk during the summon XD

Corrin is from Fire Emblem, same as Marth, Roy, Ike, Robin, Lucina, Chrom and Byleth.
They're all from different games in the series though.
Except for Chrom, Lucina and Robin who are all from 1 game. (The game that has been credited to saving the series)

Here some specifications on the Fire Emblem characters
Fire Emblem is a tacticlal RPG owned by Nintendo. In a nutshell, it's chess with numbers and permadeath of your units. The classic trope of the series (Started with Marth) is a lord who saves his kingdom from an evil dragon and its empire.
The special sound with the emptying HP box of the final smash of Marth/Lucina and Roy. Is a reference to when in the games you do a critical hit (3X Damage)
(Chrom, Lucina and Robin come from the same game)
Marth, is a prince who wields the holy sword Falchion. The first hero of the franchise.
Lucina, Marth scion. Princess who also wields Falchion but in a modern form.
Chrom, also Marth scion. Prince who also wields the modern Falchion. A close relative of Lucina.
Roy, a noble. He wields a sacred blade of flames, called the Binding Blade.
Ike, a mercenary. He wields a divine claymore with one hand, Ragnell.
Robin, a tactician and best friend of Chrom. Use tomes and a thunderblade.
Corrin, a prince with dragon blood. He can turn into a dragon and he wields a divine chainsaw sword (its ultimate form) called Yato.
Byleth, a mercenary who became a teacher in an academy. He wields heroes' relics made of bone-like material. (DLC)

Every FE game has its own twist on the formula, but the gameplay stays pretty much always the same.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
The game stars Byleth. In this game, you become a teacher for one of the 3 houses of your choice in a prestigious academy. The game has multiple playthrough and a rich story with a lot of nuances.
This is a great FE game, but between the chapters (Levels, where you play chess). You have a month with limited actions to do some preparation for the next battle. The monastery of the academy is cool and has a lot of stuff you can do, like bonding with your units or little sidequest. However, this can be perceived as a chore when you just want to see what comes next in the story or you just want to play.
This game also has a decent DLC, called: Cindered Shadows. It's a small additional story much more compact. Where the chapters follow up faster, with shorter preparation between levels and special rules. Making it an experience very similar to older Fire Emblem's! It also adds other content to the game.
Spin-off/Others
Fire Emblem Engage
A game celebrating the franchise. It uses the chess gameplay just like the other mainline games. The story takes the classic trope of good guys versus an evil dragon. In this entry, the previous FE protagonists appear in sacred rings giving immense powers. They are important in the story and are used during gameplay to give different abilities.
This game lacks polish in its presentation and the story itself. The heroes fight with the power of friendship and the villains are very simple, making the game plot bland. The gameplay is really good and brings interesting new mechanics in the formulla, but the inventory/preparation management is not great.
Fire Emblem Warriors
A fan service spin-off game with a twist on the formula. Made with Koei Techmo the team behind Dynasty Warriors. This game mixes the action hack and slash genre with the strategic touch of Fire Emblem in an interesting duo. The plot is simple and follows the classic trope. The different games are mixed and the multiple heroes rise together against evil.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
This game takes inspiration from the previous FE Warriors game and improves everything, especially the story. It story take place in the same world of 3Houses but in an alternate timeline with a different outcome. In this game, you also take down hundreds, thousands of soldiers in large real-time battles. You also have 3 different factions you can choose from.
Fire Emblem game's tone is usually serious and dramatic because its about war and sacrifice. Engage is really light compared to the other mainline games.
The concept of permadeath is a staple of the series and enforces the feeling each action counts. Even the Warriors spin-off has this option.
The recent FE games have the classic permadeath but also a casual option (Your defeated units return in the next chapter). They also have a rewind mechanic by default, useful when you make a mistake.
Pichu is basically a baby Pikachu. Sorta like Link and Young Link.

Cuphead is a costume for the Mii character, so he's kinda in the game but kinda not 😄 same with Sans from Undertale. They both had the same Final Smash cus they're both costumes for the Mii Gunner character. Pichu is the pre-evolution of Pikachu, kinda like a baby stage.

No, there is also Fox, Falco, and Wolf. They have a different line when they use theirs against each other.

Cuphead is a mii character in super smash bros ultimate thats why
So one cool detail that the video you watched failed to show is in regards to my main Joker. His Final Smash is the All Out Attack, a strong move you can do to enemies in Persona when you knock all of them down with weaknesses & critical hits. In Persona 5, finishing a fight with it has the battle results & winnings show up while it stays on that cool art shown in the Final Smash (in fact, if you don't win the fight with it, the AOA just ends at the pummeling before cutting back to the battle screen showing the health bars drop). The Smash version of the attack instant kills at 100% & if you take the last stock with that threshold, it does the same thing as a cool easter egg.

The persona series is SO good!! I've only played Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal so far, but definitely plan on playing through 4 golden and the Persona 3 remake that's coming out soon. The music in every persona game is phenomenal. I'll drop some of my fave songs in the discord!

Cuphead and Sans are just Mii costumes, in the reveal trailer complilations they dont show the miis.
I'll be honest, I find many of the brawl versions more fun... you know, they were more diverse. Different transformations and such. In Ultimate they finally gave up in trying to keep the game casual and just for fun, and tried to balance these moves for competition... "tried" being the right word.
It means that the effects of each of them is easier to control and calculate. No ridiculously powerful transformations T.T, sadly. Still, some of those movies are much more powerful than others.
To be fair, i didn't like the transformation ones. They're pretty useless, since everyone just runs away from you

This particular comp is honestly bad as it does a terrible job at showcasing the unique characteristics of certain finals and the fact that there are quite a few that are controllable. Plus there was no reason to separate ryu's 2 finals at all and they don't seem to be aware of cloud' s second final either. I also don't blame you for being confused on cuphead and sans as they're not characters but rather dlc costumes for mii gunner which this person did not specify at all.

This video is the second "worst" video showcasing the final smashes that I've seen.
Though not like the people who react to them know that because they don't know what videos are the best ones to watch.
(Basically just me nitpicking, but I did go and add the one I like the most in my playlist with all the Smash trailers in it a long time ago.)
To clarify if you didn't get it, I mean small gripes that this video does that urk me.
For example: Like in Sonic's final smash, you can move it up and down the screen, instead this guy just sits with it at the center.
