Morag starts a pretty black and white character but she is actually quite interesting. A lot of people were saying she was representation for certain minorities but it's never made explicit in game (this is Nintendo after all). It's like what happened with J. K. Rowling and the way she brought representation. She left it ambiguous so nobody would get angry and you were able to see whatever you wanted to see. I find that attitude quite absurd so I never... well, "gave it points" for that. But for some non binary communities, Morag was important for a time.

The sleep walking scene is another of those 90s anime tropes that are still present on xenoblade 2... it has been called by people the horny xenoblade game for a reason. Well, for a bunch of reasons.

Some of the side quests in this game have very strong rewards. Oh, and every blade has at least one side quest of its own... well, the blades that are not generic. Those with cool pictures. Those are pretty important to unlock all their powers. To be honest, the difference in power between normal blades and the unique blades is so huge that seems like a waste to use the generic ones. Using chips on them and such... none of those will end up in your final teams. Well, if you are at least remotely lucky.

You should probably progress a bit further in the game first, but I saw that you started the Tranquility side quest it's one of the best quests in the game so might want to check it out at some point.

As many people should have mentioned it by now. Sylvanas, the elf lady with the red eyes, is basically a former elf. After she fought against the Lich King protecting her kingdom, and eventually fell, the LIch King instead of killking her, turned her into an undead banshee, so she will suffer for all eternity.. Later she joined the undead race and became their leader. Therefore she is on the Horde side...

If you wanta be in for an experience, i recommend finding the chronological order the expansions were launched in, then watch all CG Videos in order then watch all of the ingame cinematics in order! See the evolution of WoWs story telling!

Really enjoyed watching your reactions to these! - and it's great seeing all of the commenters filling in the gaps and explaining who is who for you, particularly when you fluked selecting the BfA and War Within combination end to end - Anduin before and after the Shadowlands broke him (and the rest of us ;p ). The music in WoW may be the most consistently high quality thread through all the years, it's always stunningly put together.

In closed areas you can have a better view adjusting the distance and angle of the camera.

If you went in order of release you'd have gotten a feel for the story in the game which can be spoiler-ish but is key to FF games. We wish Veera could wear hats other then the one hair option.

Tutorials are one thing not great in Xenoblade 2. They aren't good and you can't revisit then later. They fixed it and other downsides of xbc2 on torna.

I know there are people who doesn't like rex, I usually don't like kid protagonists too, but rex is so well written. He is my favorite character in the franchise, after playing torna jin is a close second. Torna is not necessary to play the series, but i highly recommend, i finished 100% in only 60h, and it's all about character development. Just seeing again the beginning of rex and pyra journey already makes me emotional.

like you I came a little bit late for the party. I finished xeno 2 and torna a couple of mounths ago, and I gave myself a time playing other games to prepare myself to another monolith master piece, xenoblade 3. I will start probably next week while I'm watching you playing xeno 2.

Flow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow are sang by Amanda Achen, a trained opera soprano. Her voice is out of this world and has made those two songs some of my favorite in gaming and beyond.

To be fair to Sylvanas and the undead, the Alliance decided to be against all undead, even those that broke free and wanted to return home peacefully, so they all joined the Horde. Doesn't mean any particular undead character isn't a complete maniac or evil dude or dudette.
