I have one question: If I wanted to build a Gen 5 G31/32/33 would a Gen 4 32 barrel (aftermarket conventional) work in a Gen 5 23? I know that a Gen 5 G23 slide works on a G45 to make a 40 cal G23X. How about a 357 sig G32X? Or a Gen 5 G33? Glock released the Gen 5 G29 and G30 right before Gaston’s passing into great beyond. However there’s no 357 sig models in Gen 5. Even Sig won’t run the 357 sig. Both the P226 and P229 had easy conversions between the 9mm/.40/357 sig. And Glock had easy conversions across the three calibers as well. Thanks
first kit i bought from Patmos and it was my first ever and was advertised as "Complete upper and complete lower parts kit" only to find out later that it was not in fact complete, it didnt have the Locking Block and from what i see around online MOST kits dont include one, just an FYI to anyone who may be just starting these build kits n such.
To avoid and FFL you will have to do machining work yourself. Either with a P80 (google the store) or 3d print one. Its not hard but you will need at least 300 dollars for the tools. Its MUCH cheaper to just buy from a gun store (if you can, that is.)
don’t forget to turn in to be engraved for serial or my state makes you 3letter initials 0and build number or number build, zip code-10 digits…. but if that number is taken, the state is happy to pick one for u and likely never get it back due to some minor thing in the build they dont like…. and nothing u can do about it. or buy pre serialized from p80 or lone wolf and build and pray when u turn in for registration they dont nit pick……yeah democratic states are AWESOME when u trying to be law abiding joe

Lmao sigs are a terrible design. One spring falls out, you have at least an hour repair. I promise you I have over 30 Glocks not a single issue. I have 4 sig p365’s and 2 of them had major issues. It’s easy to see which company to stick with. Sig makes trash now a days plain and simple. They beta test their products in the civilian market. Over 35 pending cases on the sig sauer p320.
@wallabing is wrong you can not get this shipped to your door! The slide you can but this is a glock OEM frame or as you called it handle. It is the gun and is serialized must go to an FFL and a 4473 completed
If your buying the Glock OEM factory side your at an FFL and at that point you should just buy the one on the shelf. Your gunna be turning it back in to the "authorities" in a year or two. Print a 3D frame and NOW you are building your own custom pistol...
Not true you can buy a glock factory slide and have it shipped direct to your home no FFL required. This is not the case with the frame as it is considered the firearm and is serialized it must go to an FFL and a 4473 completed.

The assembly is much easier if you put your locking block and locking block pin (1st pin) in first, then do your slide release and trigger pin. 👍

Put the back of your striker in the rear of the slide to hold it in place while you install the spring cups.
The extractor is in the slide, I believe the piece you keep calling the extractor is the ejector
