I know I ate apricot seeds and cherry seeds and apple seeds and chewed them up and I'm not dead same for plums and peaches. I lost two family members pretty recently to cancer. And it wasn't the cancer that killed them it was the chemo. I know how you feel about conspiracy theories and traditional medicine. I get that it's a mixed bag. We love you bud.

As a 52 year old man who lives in the Northwest and turns tools I have no problem admitting that it breaks me up to see Paul hurting. And it bodes well in my spirit to see him on camera and doing what God put him here to do. Blessings to you, Paul.

Paul, if you still read the comments, you may enjoy this one. My daughter is now almost 10, but when she was 7 & 8, she'd sometimes creep in the room while I would be watching your videos. To my surprise one day, she asked if I could put on a video of "the guy reading the numbers". I had to ask for clarification, but turned out she found watching you shoot the chronograph to be very enjoyable and soothing. For over a year she would regularly ask me to put on one of these segments and could recognize your thumbnails from across the room. I'd have to fast-forward TO the chronograph section and watch the rest of the videos later!

Did you ever notice, you could read hundreds of comments on P.H. videos and not see ONE negative one? That says a lot about the man. Love you Paul!
My first thought when I read "P.H." was a hub of sorts known for compiling regional statistics every year.
He himself used to address detractors in some of his past videos but that is clearly not an issue in the current era. I hope he is around long enough to have those kinds of concerns again.

Actually, I thought Paul looked pretty good. A month or two ago, he was in an interview on some other channel, and looking like he was suffering a lot. He looks a lot better in this one. Never give up. A friend's father had leukemia, and when diagnosed, they gave him 2 to 3 years. He made it over 16 years and that was 15 years ago. The advances in everything can bring about small miracles. You're looking good, Paul, keep doing what you are doing because it seems to be working.

Currently watching this with my son. It’s been our tradition to watch Paul’s videos together since he was born. He’s 5 and a half now and loves cuddling up to watch your videos.

Seeing paul getting a little teary-eyed over a pop tart reminds me of my wife, who is battling stage 4 colon cancer. People don't understand until they do. When I got into firearms, paul helped me more than he could ever know.

I just got home this evening from the hospital after getting my kidney cancer surgery. Hurts like hell, but seeing Mr. Harrell being strong helps loads.

I'm very happy to see all the love for Paul. You are an inspiration to all of us here. To quote The Last Samurai: "And then I come to this place of my ancestors, and I remember, like these blossoms: we are all dying. To know life in every breath, every cup of tea, every life we take...the way of the warrior".
My Dad is 80 this year, hes fighting stage 2 pancreatic cancer. This is his second bout of cancer that hes kicked the ass of, he's had his spleen and half his pancreas removed. He lost 30 kgs, that's 66 pounds in old money off his frame and chemo made it hard to eat. Once a month I drive the 4 hours to help him around the house, On this trip I am dropping 2 flowering cherry trees that are keeping the sun from his newly planted peach and plum trees. Each time I go up my wife packs him a care package of food from the garden she has canned. Food he grew up on like stewed plums, pickles, chutneys. foods that mask the chemo taste. Food that has helped him put most of the weight back on

About a year ago I stumbled onto one of Paul's videos and instantly knew this was a straight shooter (no pun intended, well maybe). I knew he'd be a source of good info for a newbie like me. His presentations were always the best! Thanks to the internet I can go back and look at years of videos but, I hope that Paul can beat this and stay with us for a long time...

A word of caution to those thinking of burying their own survival stash, many people believe that a great source of fire is a pack of disposable lighters like Bic, but I have found the flints used in those types of lighters break down after a few years and crumble apart when struck by the sticker wheel, becoming useless after a few years!
Even the large ferro rods start to break down. I have one in a truck kit that I went through after about 3 years, and it was starting to powder on the outside.
That miracle of science ad caught me off guard. 10/10. Like Red Green says, "I'm pulling for you; we're all in this together." Prayers

Paul, i dont know if you read these comments but you sir are a national treasure as far as im concerned. May the Lord always be with you in your fight sir. I'd say something inspurational like, never give up, but it would be redundant, because you sir, are the epitome if never give up. The world is a better place with men like you in it.

One of my favorite things about this channel is that i grew up and reside in the same town Paul lives in. It is pretty cool how just a bunch of average guys with no rediculous music or fancy editing from a small town have a channel with over a million subscribers.
Been burying food and water caches since the 70's for backpacking trips around Arizona in smaller ammo cans then you used. I also use 81 mm mortar carry tubes for short term food/water caches. Couple of years ago after retrieving the tubes which were attached to my pack, I came across a forest ranger who was checking out the trail. I noticed he was looking at my tubes and I advised him if he came across some folks lugging a mortar and base plate tell them I will meet up at the spring then hiked away.
One of long-term caches that I buried in the mid 70's I could not access back then because it became overgrown with catclaw brush. Glad to watch you Paul, those frosted strawberry pop tarts have been a morale booster for me on those long solo back country trips. Thank you, Roy, Saul and crew, for posting this video.
For the record I just want to thank you Paul. For years you have provided me with knowledge and wisdom, and even on those occasions that I have disagreed with your opinions you have presented those opinions in a way which never failed to entertain me. I'm proud (For possibly the only time in my life) to share a first name with you, and I wish you and your family all the best.

This was great to watch. Seeing Paul enjoy the pastry was heart warming and also seeing how a properly sealed container can protect things from the elements even over a long period of time.
