Yay, glad you're not dead!
You too dude!
I gotta say it is kinda sad that the whole retropie handheld has died down significantly but the android handhelds that are coming out are pretty great (and it probably didnt help with the markup of what the pi's were getting) can't wait to see what stuff you come up with in 2024.
Happy to see you back
Man I really miss mintypi I never made one because I don't really have the skills to do it and people were selling it for a lot and I was still young and didn't have money lol
Same here. Always wanted one and by the time I could finally afford one there were better cheaper options out there
Same here😔
Glad to see that you're still posting! Best of luck with 3d printing stuffs!
Glad you back, I think you underestimate the cool factor of some of those small projects with shorts. Even this little ones as gifts, could make for a cool video, if not even just a tutorial on how to create them in fusion 360. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more content 😎
Always happy to see an update, even if it's an "hi, I'm still alive" update.
p.s. the small shorts updates and compilation vids about your smaller projects are really nifty and nice to see.
Fantastic to see you’re still working on stuff. The mintyPi was never a replacement for retro gaming handhelds. The Chinese knock offs can never overtake the hands on elements of putting together your own retro gaming device. It’s made with a raspberry pi for goodness sake! Raspberry pi’s are the definition of creativity of small projects and the opportunity to have fun learning or just making something out of nothing! I don’t think it’s a problem with the retro gaming handhelds from China being easily accessible, it’s the outreach to a specific audience that comes as a difficulty. It’s sad to see projects like the mintyPi and tinyPi Pro fading away into the past:(
I hear you. And to be clear, when I say raspberry pi handhelds don't make much sense anymore, I was more referring to the game boy zero and derivative projects that used drop-in all-in-one boards, or products like the GPi case. Unique DIY projects like mintyPi, I think, still have a place (although demand definitely dropped off quite a bit).
@@wermy I’m not the one that can see some projects spiraling down. But I think many would be happy to see the mintyPi come back. Like is there even a place to buy the control boards anymore? Helder seems to have removed them from the website. Or even the silicone buttons have been sold out for a while.
Really enjoy your projects and vibe! Excited for more
Good to see you back!
Good to see ya wermy!
Amazing work and inspiration. Great to see you back!
Glad to see a vid from you, and small projects are great too!
Yay!! I can’t wait! I really miss your content! It was really good!
I looked at this video rn thinking it was 8 months ago for some reason
Great to see you exist

Its been so long, nice to see your not dead ^^

very glad you're not dead. hopefully the raspberry pi handhelds get popular again, its more fun building stuff
good to see your still alive
A true Renaissance Nerd, making cool stuff and learning every day! ✌🏻
Welcome back brother!
Minty pi was amazing. Sorry to see that die off but glad to see you back to making vids
I hope you will make more about fusion 360 and its usage for 3d print world, such as basic tips and tricks. I really like your fusion 360 crash course video.
Wishing I picked up the mintypi kit when I could have, would love to use one when on the go
I like the Mitxela approach where any finished project gets a quick little video
Keep making cool projects and uploading videos about it to youtube
This video was fantastic! Thank you for sharing your amazing projects and plans. One suggestion for even better content would be to include more detailed tutorials on your process. This would help viewers who are interested in learning from your expertise
Thes SNES fidget keychains look so cool, would those ever come back on your Etsy?
hey neat!
Is it still possible to make a minty pi now? I am not even into retro gaming that much, but the idea of turning an Altoids tin into a video game console was always fascinating to me. Or are there easier ways to do it now?
Hi. I was checking accessories for Nintendo Switch Lite and came to one of your videos. Wireless charging option covered back in 2020. Excellent video and what a great idea!! I also found an internal option that someone did but your "add-on" option is way better for the reason that the internal way has an issue and your way also allows the normal charging for shorter time. In your video, you said you would release STL after your Patreon. I checked Thingiverse but did not find it. Any idea when you will be releasing it to public?
Hey, welcome back! I remember watching your Steam Deck accessories video a while ago and finding it quite insightful. I want to jump into some simple game controller repair projects and your soldering tutorial came up. It was the perfect thing for a soldering beginner like myself. Would you recommend something like the Pinecil or the TS101 to get started? Thanks! :)
Do you have any files available for the spaceship earth wall art? :)
Please come to Printables!
Very glad not dead XD
Where do you think I can get a minty pi? I really want to get one.
I think these small projects are interesting...
You're not a kid anymore.
Its a shame you killed the sudomod forum.
90% of people moved to discord and it was almost all spam that we had to delete. It was more trouble than it was worth. 😕
