Hey @wermy . Was wondering what material you would recommend for the battery backpack? My fear is PLA would get too hot and eventually warp. Would you recommend Nylon PA12, or possibly PETG?

Could you print a back cover of The Steam Deck which provides easier access to the M2 drive ? Also, could you work on a Steam Deck cover with a honeycomb design that is lighter?

@@BaradaNels you want petg. It's incredibly strong, light weight, heat resistant and has almost zero shrinkage. It's amazing. I've used it for commercial diving hats as black out trainers for a school.

@@charlestannehill7537 Thanks for that. I used petg for a GPU shroud (noctua low profile fans). Do you think it will have enough bend in it to take the thing on and off the Deck? My shroud has ZERO bend.

Perfect timing wermy. I've been following your content for years and I finally got a 3D printer. Just a few days ago I printed that Xenomorph you showcased on your channel, and now I'm printing the Steam Deck dock for the Anker hub I already had. You and the content you bring to us are a godsend.

Just now finding your channel. I don’t know if you’ll read this as I’m posting on a year old video but after seeing the previous one about this channel turning into feeling like a job instead of a hobby, I just wanted to say something. Your content is great and appreciated no matter what it’s specifically about. Don’t ever feel like you need to do something you don’t want to do for the channel to “keep up with expectations” as I’m sure most viewers would say they just like seeing the cool projects and learning. You just talking about interesting projects you take on for fun is completely satisfying to watch. Just don’t feel pressured to do stuff you don’t want. You don’t own us anything and we are appreciative of the time you do/can take to make videos. As I’m just now finding the videos, I’ve been watching through all the older ones and it would be super great if you got motivated again to start making more.
