Lol, same in Egypt. There's always like 3 shades of beige, 1 shade of slightly darker beige and another light brown. I always mix it with eyeshadow to get my colour.
Pretty accurate because we only get like 4 shades out of which 3 are fair n one is like fair with little yellow lol. Colourism is finally starting to get cancelled in India tho.

gurl one time i went to my aunt's indian ((im indian, shes indian, everyone was indian) wedding and i swear to god i did not recognize my own aunt. it was like my uncle was marrying a complete stranger.
Some people get really heavy makeup that u can't even recognise them, by my opinion natural is better bc obviously after wedding u don't want everyone to get scared that u are a stranger

Actually that's because We Indians don't wear makeup regularly,most of us use just a simple cream kajal and lipbalm all the other days except for marriage, so when we do it, it looks dramatic,

I love this whole video! I’m Pakistani and Norwegian, grew up in both cultures, and I very rarely see people do Indian makeup looks, and I love it. I smiled and laughed through so much of it ♥️ Instant subscription from me
Pakistani and Indian are two opposite cultures
Indian's are orginally hindu culture while pakistanis' are a wierd mix of hindu and islamic culture
@@hmmm463 I know it’s two different cultures, haha. And I know what Pakistani culture is. But I also have a lot of Indian people in my family and there’s definitely similarities sometimes. I just said I’m Pakistani and that I rarely see people do Indian makeup. My dad is Pakistani and Indian, my mom is Norwegian, so I Agee, but I don’t need to be explained the difference haha :)

Namaste! As an Indian through and through this is a slap on every bridal makeup artist that only chooses fair shades on every indian/brown/black skin tone for their big wedding day. YOU CAN BE BROWN/BLACK AND PRETTY. You did a great job, you look great.

....and I am not happy about it. Cuz There's no such things like foundation shades here cuz they think foundations are only meant for making you fair. This is all i see in weddings and parties. Using a lighter foundation than your skin tone is not an issue but what women do is they use only the one which will make them look white like a paper.

I've watched a documentary about the beauty standards of India being in favor of the fairer skinned, so I thought that Darcei over here trying out Indian makeup with her skintone is kinda refreshing and might even inspire Indian girls with naturally darker skintone. I'm a Filipino and the beauty standard is about the same here, so I really like watching makeup on tan and dark skin because beauty comes in all colors 💖
