You know what really sucks when I was young and I basically was ostracized by this group black kids when I was in elementary because I didn't "act black". We where in a majority white school but I still was friends with almost every single other race but when it came to black kids I can only think of 1 girl. It's scary to think that we weren't even preteens yet and they had already had a concept of what was and wasn't "black enough"

@@thelying2594 i feel that. i went to a majority black elementary school and i was friends with the two white kids in the class because according to my black peers i wasn’t black enough/too white. you can imagine how shocking this was to hear as someone who had just immigrated from africa. i didn’t realize that you had to fit into a mold to be black. i still face some of that today in my twenties. it sucks.
