Be a great gig for someone who wants to get in shape/stay in shape and not pay for a ton of gas.
Absolutely! 💪
@@DakotaEthridge You could get a pedal assist hub for your wheel too. When you get too tired, switch it on for a while.
Awesome tip! 🙌
@@The_Gallowglass I'm about to look up what a pedal assist hub is and price but do you know of where I can find one that you'd recommend for someone such as myself who is on a budget.
Or for someone young and broke :D

I’m doing Door Dash on foot and I’m out here in Arizona. My rule is to never take an order further than 1 mile. I also reject orders with too many drinks…..makes it difficult to run when you’ve got 2-8 drinks. Surprisingly there’s at least 2-5 orders a day that aren’t further than a mile
Really?! No way! That’s crazy! Good for you!
isnt rejecting orders going to stop you from getting more? I'm just speaking on experience from doing uber eats when it started, i eventually got banned forever fuck them.
@@DakotaEthridge yep....but I don't want people getting the wrong idea. I'd use my car if I still had it. I figure I'd make a few bucks while I look for a job at a grocery store or something. I also live rent free with my uncle. So I'm actually still pretty lucky despite all my past mistakes in life. I do Door Dash on foot right now to lessen the burden I am for my uncle. I should have my life together by now but I'm going to jail for a DUI in 2 weeks from now. I'd get a more stable job if I wasn't going to jail so soon.
@@chris7285 sorry ur going thru a hard time, hope it gets better! I respect the grind ✊🏼
@@chris7285 how much do make?
Yesterday was so cold in the 30s, and I was delivering on my bike. My dad got me an Ebike, and it had a USB port that charges my phone while I ride with peddle assist.
Keep some fatty snacks and make sure to get lots of sleep. Another thing I noticed was that, although the bike is slower, you're able to take many short cuts
Being in the same city makes this video feel a lot more informative…now I know exactly what to expect☠️☠️💯

Great video, I’ve been door dashing on a bike too, it can be hard but fun
Really great video man i ordered my hyper scrambler 2 electric bike and cant wait to start dashing im really going all out on steal locks and as much security as i need. my bike is weighing in over 100ibs so i wont neccarily be able to carry that thing up any stairs but keep posting your inspiring !
Thanks for the video it was a lot of help and it was very detailed

Nice! Reminds me of those bike messaging day!
I'd really like to try dashing as well in the future with my ebike. I take it out nearly all of my free days and if I'm earning some money simply delivering food and enjoying my ride time, then it'd be perfect.
Thanks and good to know they pay well, but I'm sure where you live is quite important for requests.
Wow! Using your bike for Door dash! My kind of video!
I was thinking of doing this for certain areas with hard to find parking for restaurants.
I wish had done what you're doing now in my younger days. Keep after it!

Great video, man!! :)) Your vibes are cool
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Hey great video! Thanks! 😋
YOU ARE A BEAST AMAZING
It's easier when you're in an urban city with bike infrastructure or slow traffic. Here, bike lanes don't even exist. You have to ride on the sidewalks, which have pedestrians and are full of huge cracks.
This is badass, literally just five mins ago i saw an ad on tiktok about using your bike to dash
I love it. I get paid to workout!
@@DakotaEthridgeii in canada never didvthis before is it hard to do
Uber eats and skip the dishes are harder to get accepted by. You apparently need to go get your finger printed and a copy showing you don't have a criminal record to send to them, and it costs money to do that.
On Uber Eats and Skip A Dishes apps it just asks for ID (Passport , copy of birth cerftificate or Driver's license) and something showing you are allowed to work in Canada ,where as they tell you after you ask them why you haven't been accepted about what else they want.
Where as door dash gets straight to the point. They ask for everything except finger printing and a copy of a criminal record.

I just started last week on my bike… Getting back in the swing of things. I biked for Jimmy John’s over 10 years ago. I like this route better

Squad Assemble! ✊
Where did you put your bike for the ones where you went into the lobby? Did you lock your bike at all? I just signed up for this and I live in an inner city, my bike could be stolen in seconds. (and even going into the restaurant to pick up the food, I'm concerned about the bike...)
Problem with door dash is you may get an order for $7 only then not get another for a hour. Then other times you might make $40 in three hours which is not even minimum wage in Vancouver BC.
It’s inconsistent which is vital for a reliable job.
I would not work 50 hours a week at my current job if I wasn’t making the same money every week.
Thanks
That's awesome you DoorDash I've been doing it 3-4 years now but with a car and in Columbus, Ohio. You did great with that though cuz here you drive a lot more and it takes working 11-2 and 4-8 to make that hundred unless you get catering orders which are sweeeeeet. I did a cater order that went 2 miles from Chipotle the other day and made $140 on that order alone. Wish they were more frequent.
I do it all! 💅🏼
Seems like it.
How do you cope with living in Ohio? I’d probably end myself!! 💀
@@activatekruger446 I hate it. I'm not from here originally I'm actually from the west coast and I'm homesick every day. Unfortunately my husband and I have other employment as well that keeps us here at the moment 🙄
How do you deal with the drinka in the tote bag, without it falling wverywhere?
I disagree with that cuz like on doordash often get back-to-back orders and double orders. It really depends on the area and the time you do it some towns doordash towns and some ubereats towns
wow u so cute and funny 😂 glad I found your channel, thanks for making this! What do you do with your bike during pickups/dropoffs? Do you ever bring it inside with you or lock up? Does looking for a spot & locking up waste much time?
Thank you! It kinda depends. I’ll typically lock it up. I have also brought it with me in an elevator and the whole nine up to someone’s apt. door! Haha! Sometimes I’ll hide it in an apt lobby. All kinda depends on the environment. But I don’t spend but a minute doing anything like that, not a major stress for me!
Is it only worth doing if you’re in a downtown area? I feel like in a regular town you’d be competing with car deliveries.
Who are better for bike earn per order or by time?
Im getting a cargo trailer for the back of my bike, might try dashing.
Ooo nice! Lemme know how it turns out!
Love your vide

Get a good bag!! It was a game changer once I upgraded.
@@DakotaEthridge what is the bag called that you have on in the video?
An Insulated Delivery Bag
Your hair looks awesome man. What's your hair care routine?
Don’t cut it. Don’t wash it. Haha!
this is insperational!
Man I'm scared shitless of geting my ebike stolen, even with locks and alarms, how do you cope with that?
I temporarily lock it to something outside like an iron fence or something made specifically for locking up bikes. I’ve also taken it in to lobbies of apartments or all the way up to the apartment door, on the elevator if I feel like it calls for all that.
I get it, but I suppose you just gotta take the precautions or take it with you!
Got one stolen last week but the motor doesn't work and I bought it for 40 bucks with the broken motor so the joke is on the thief, still a nice regular bike though smh!!
Hide a GPS tracking device on/in the frame.
some ebikes have a geo locking feature so if it gets to far away from you it locks down. but relly dont use cheap locks and dont every leave it far away. take it inside when possable. or go with a e-unicycle ther so small you can carry them anywhere with you.
Buy a motorcycle lock designed for NY.
Bolt cutters can't even get on ot it's so big, and angle grinders take awhile to get through it.
Where can I get a food bag backpack like yours thanks
As a customer you cant take your tip back on doordash either like you can on uber.
Do they give you that back back for DD bike deliveries? Thinking of doing DD with my bike but not sure how I would ride it from place to place
Uber Eats offered it at a discount for a 3rd party company. I haven’t seen it around anymore but they are a hit! Search Amazon for “insulated delivery backpack” you will find something similar in functionality…but missing a little bit of swag. 😏
Great video bro you ever think about putting a motor on it would make it easier bro
Wouldn’t that be nice! I’ve def thought about doing it on a moped and flying through it!
You can put it right on your bike bro check out my channel you will see what I’m talking about get you around fast and cheap to build one
Came here because I want to sign up but it’s expensive for DL right now
Crazy how this guy can make 100$ on a bike, I’ve struggled to make 100$ in a whole day in a car.
Do another one!
What type of bag is that you use to carry the food and where can one like it?
Insulated delivery backpack!
So ive seen some setups on what people like to use, do you perfer having a backpack rather than a basket on the rear or front of the bike.
I think I would looove a basket, but I’ve never had one! I could def see how it could save my back after a long day!
@@DakotaEthridge hey I have a question. What ebike do you recommend? I currently do deliveries with my car but gas is killing me. So I’m looking at ebike or scooter. But I like that with an ebike I can go on the sidewalk. What ebike brand do you recommend that is under $1000. Walmart has an ebike heybike for $800 but it only gives 40 miles per charge. I was hoping for more miles per charge. Also, how do you handle drinks? I currently do deliveries with my car and sometimes I get orders with 3 or even 4 large 🥤. The restaurants give me a soda cup holder and in my car I have a sturdy area. however, on a bike, holding a bag on your back, how could you prevent say 3 drinks from not spilling? Also, what about large pizza orders like say from papa johns? I have a very large bag I use for 18 inch pizzas. In my car it’s not an issue, but how could I put a large 18 inch pizza on a bike without it getting tossed around?
Hey! So I've never actually used an e-bike so i don't really have a great recommendation there! I had a Honda Ruckus (scooter) back in the day & loved it! I want to get one again!
So for drinks...I still use those cardboard holders in my backpack while biking - but, I use a bunch spread out in the bag to fill the empty space and it typically will leave them more secure than without! So imagine using one for the "foundation" and then the rest are like tetris blocks to fill the empty space! It's never 100% but at least my efforts are!
For pizza...I try not to accept pizza orders while biking. If somehow it slips through the cracks - I'll typically hold it with one hand and bike with the other. It's very difficult! I end up taking it slow...
Hope this helps!
How often do you get drinks in cardboard cups you have to deliver?? And how do you carry without spilling!? Nice vid cheers!
Maybe like 20% of the orders I get a drink like that, maybe less! And I have def spilled a drink in my bag…more than once. 🤫
Hello I have a question is it safe doing Food delivery while on a e scooter in the streets as a food Delevery person. Csn you share the car lane well. I know u did with a bicycle just curious thx
I would check the local laws as I think they are different city to city. My experience has been that cities prefer you to be in the street or a bike lane as it's safer for walking pedestrians this way. My advice if you do this or with a bike...travel in the middle of the car lane to completely own it as when I'm off over on the side people try to sneak past me really close and it feels a lot more dangerous! This applies to city and slower roads - otherwise, I'm on the sidewalk!
i have an ebike and like the other guy...I'd be sketched out leaving it outside. I would probably always try to bring it inside
I would be too! I always lock it up and keep an eye on things! 👀
Becareful!
See...I wouldn't be upset about the "lack of return on my time" because you also got a workout by doing these orders which will make you more attractive and prolong your life. I would look at it like: I just got paid such and such for working out. 😃
What vehicle mode do you use to receive orders. I haven't received an order since I've opened my bicycle account lmao
I was able to do a bike. It seems like it's an available option in some cities. I was located in Denver at the time.

Moving to Arvada soon and will be bicycle delivering. is it better to do Uber and Door dash or just one to start out with?
I've been on the door dash waiting list for 3 months. I don't think they will hire us cyclist unless you have a car.
Whats a good delivery service I could work for?
I'm thinking of picking up doordash in denver cuz I live pretty close to downtown and have a 20mph e-scooter. My question is how do you handle orders with drinks?
I normally will fill my bag with empy drink holders to just fill the space with cardboard but keep the drinks upright! The bag has little cup straps but stuff is still gonna shake a little. It’s not gonna be delivered as perfect as by car but what can we do 🤷🏼♂️
Dude denver doordash on bike sucks. I just started. They give me zero orders and i bike from hotspot to hotspot . I don’t understand how this guy gets orders
@@codyfenner6780 How is your delivery on bike going on ? Have you started to recieve any orders as a biker in Denver?
Out of curiosity, how does door dash handle gas w/ car drivers? Just the owner's expense?
Yes - I think it’s part of being a “contracted out” worker. You technically work for yourself. I think if you were doing it right you would track it and expense it when filing your taxes.
Can you sign up for this without a valid License
I wonder how many miles he covered in that time
I’m hoping to make some extra cash for my schooling and want to try DoorDash.. what would you do if there is an order with a lot of drinks and you only use a bike to deliver the orders ?
I’ve only ever had it where I was carrying two orders and one was from a sushi / ramen place where I had a bunch of different containers.
You could cancel an order once you arrived simply because it won’t fit. Sometimes I’ve had to do that if I was already carrying something then I get a pizza just because the pizzas won’t fit in the bag.
What happens if you get a very long order? Is it typical in the area you are dashing in for it not to be far away for an order?
Yes, in Denver the orders typically remain in a predetermined zone. You see them as you log on and it shows how “busy” they are or if there is a surge charge…

My strategy is to get a bunch of those drink carriers. Put one in there holding the actual drink(s) and then use a bunch of extra ones to fill space in the bag so it doesn’t fall over.
But how are u allowed to use a bike the app don’t allow it it asks for car
I think it’s based on your location! It seems like DoorDash only has the bike option turned on in specific cities!
