@@DrumdumsMovieReviews 👀
Loved Halloween Kills , felt so 80’s slasher and crazy body count
I will never understand the hate that Halloween kills gets and I think Halloween ends is going to be even better
@M Green I get what your saying
@M Green that's ok
Lee, I was shocked when you said Killer Party, but happy about it!
I had a movie party for my 16th birthday party at my parents house. They let me have the house for 5 hours and they took me to the video store to rent a couple movies, got my cake and decorations, etc. , and I invited some friends over and mom and dad left us alone ! Killer Party was one of my movies I rented , lol.
So we all.had pizza, birthday cake and watched Killer Party 🥳! My parents were the best, ❤️
Love stories like this Earl!
Ti West's 'X' is still one of my few new favorite slasher movies of this year.
I actually enjoyed Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022. The movie gave us what the title promised. The one thing that just bothers me to no end with the original, is that we were promised a chainsaw massacre, but then only one person got chainsawed.
Kinda funny if you think about it 😂 I always thought of TCM as a slasher version of “you damn kids get off my lawn!!”
Slashers are my favorite horror sub genre, too. I have a massive collection with tons of rare and obscure ones. And the killer in 10 To Midnight was in the slasher Cruising with Al Pacino and Joe Spinell! Check it out if you haven't seen it. Love these videos, Lee! 🔪 🥃
I've been meaning to check out Cruising!
Good call with "Cruising"!
Italian horror was very strong in the 70s and 80s. Still going back and finding great movies from that period I never knew about before. No doubt Torso was a classic as was Tenebrae.
yesss lee on including TCM22. hands down one of my favorite recent horror releases. it was so fun!
Visiting Hours is criminally underrated.
Halloween kills is great the Evil dies tonight stuff is exactly how most people would react and Michael is badass so an automatic win
The action star SLASHERS....Cobra, 10 to Midnight and Silent Rage! I love all those movies! A triple feature for the ages....
Hell yeah!
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Lee, have you ever seen FEAR CITY from 1984 with Tom Berenger and Melanie Griffith? it's a forgotten slasher and you need to see it.... very unique... and features The Karate Killer...I can't believe it wasn't a Cannon film! You will love it.
"Silent Rage" and "10 to Midnight" gives me goosebumps every time you mention them; like you did a few videos ago. Those two are just the perfect type of movies to watch on a Saturday at midnight. I probably mentioned it before, but the killer from "10 to Midnight" also had a small role in another underrated flick, "The Hitcher". Oddly enough, I've always been a huge Ron Silver fan since the first time I saw "Silent Rage", I'll even go as far as to watch him in a ton of old TV shows like "Rhoda" and "The Stockard Channing Show". If you can't get Pacino or Hoffman, there's Ron Silver on the sidelines! I'm not necessarily a fan of "Blue Steel" (though I think it has some fun scenes in it), but he's a solid killer in it, and you might appreciate that he's out to get Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie; also has Clancy Brown in it.
While we're here, "Bad Boys" from '83 has always been seriously underrated. I love the late '70s/early '80s!
I love "Tourist Trap" as well. It may not be gory, but it is so creepy, especially the "plaster" death. Chuck Connors is surprisingly good in it as well. I have heard great things about "10 to Midnight" and "Killer Party", so I will be watching them as I am able.
Love your top 10s!!!😍
Thank you Brian!
Another great review Lee! Been meaning to see Silent Rage and love Ten to Midnight. HKills really rocked with Cameron's death as well as the firefighters but lost me partway with its "dangerous mob mentality" undertones.
Keep bringing these underrated Slashers out in the open 💯great Canon Shirt and Content DrumDums!
Halloween Kills is unjustly trashed in my opinion. I find it to be one of the most accessible watches of the franchise, while never shying away from shocking brutality. Plus the flashback portion is pure gold!
I loved how they made the new scenes in 1978 scenes look old
Spot on lee. Micheal ironside, Tom beranger, and Eric Roberts all should have been bigger stars in mine. Great stuff great vid lee. Haven't seen 10 to midnight so thanks brother.
Sweet. I always learn of horror movies I've never heard of because of your vids Lee.
Great video Lee. Torso is a great pick at number 1. I would definitely have that in my top 5 along with Tenebrae, 10 To Midnight, X and Visiting Hours 🤘
Love your top 10 slasher videos! Keep em coming! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad to see Killer Party and Silent Rage on the list. Excellent 80s slashers.
Indeed!
As usual you've given me a stack of films to check out. Obviously i completely agree with everything you said about Halloween Kills, i was blown away when i first watched it, and loved it even more on every watch since, i've been waiting since the 80's for a new favourite Halloween sequel and finally got one. Also i agree about 10 To Midnight, i love that film and would recommend it to any slasher fan.
I love TCM 2022 especially the more I watch it
Looking forward to watching these! I love slashers (just going to pretend that TCM 2022 wasn't mentioned)
1. Scream(1996)
2. Fear Street: 1978
3. X
4. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
5. The Final Girls
6. Haunt
7. Candyman(1992)
8. Child`s Play 2
9. Black Christmas(1974)
10. The Strangers: Prey at Night
Haunt is so, so, so good!
I love these Top 10 slashers videos!
Love Ten to Midnight, great rec.
Yes!! I viewed 10 to midnight as an awesome Bronson action movie for so long but when I watched it recently with my "horror" eyes it's so different and just as awesome! Great list Sir 😃
Love your top 10s. Always discovering something new.
As a HUGE fan of 70s and 80s horror, love your picks here but I'm surprised that I actually AGREE with your choice of Chainsaw 2022 and Halloween Kills; especially the latter. I get the complaints the purists have about it, but Halloween Kills is just so much of a blast of good gory fun, and how can I possibly not enjoy the sight of Meyers rampaging through town, slicing and dicing everyone and everything in his blood-drenched path? It's exactly what I wanted from a modern slasher movie.
Love these ranking vids Lee, you're the man.
An underrated one is Evil Dead Trap it's a bonkers Japanese slasher from the 80's that is over the top and a lot of fun.
I Love You
Mr. Lee
I Swear You Must Have Been Reading My Mind
When You Put This List Together
Amazing Top 10 & Honorable Mentions
Great list of slashers and cool video Lee!👉😃👈
Congrats on the 50 000 subs. Here's to the next 50.
Another great video!!!! Love the shirt 👕
Love the Top Ten’s Lee great work brother
Another great video! Thanks brother!!
I've always loved these this is awesome 🎃🎃
Hey great top 10 keep it up I've been watching you for about 2 years and I'm a CZcams Creator myself but I don't do it for a living I just do it for the fun cuz I love horror movies and plus I want people to get frightened when they look at my ugly mug anyway too bad that ain't no joke lol. But I love watching your videos man and no matter how some people can get and they may say this is that getting nit picky I'm sure you know this by now just keep on doing what you doing I've been meaning to comment for a while but I really ain't the one to try that put anything out there just wanted to get that out there love you man keep it up!

Awesome Sharon!
Lee just before dawn is awesome, tourist trap is very underrated, the rental is a good movie I don't why it gets hate, silent rage is great. Love 10 to midnight and killer party and visiting hours .freaky was good. Halloween kills is just an 80s slasher
Plinko scene is awesome Lee, I agree. The rest of the film on the other hand....woof
What a list! You've got some deep cuts, pun intended lol. I'm looking forward to checking out the movies I haven't seen which was about half the list. Great video, as always!
Glad I could help out Sara!
I looooooove the slasher genre And my favorite film goes to Friday the 13th part 4
By now, all the honorable mentions from *Top 10 Slasher Movies Vol. 1* are like "oh, come on, man..."
The poor guys basically took an offer for a side character in a Marvel movie instead of waiting for a main superhero role in the next phase.
Great list, Lee👌🏼TORSO is such a great movie!!! Good choice😍
This is so crazy lee i just watched killer party yesterday then BOOM here it is at #2. I agree that last act was 😎👌
Torso number one on the list gets a thumbs up, one of the best Giallos. I have yet to see Martino's The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh, I have seen of the other two Martino films with Edwige Fenech, Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key, not as great as Torso but worth watching.
Damn just realized how long I've been watching your channel lol keep it coming
Thank you!!
Are you of the opinion that House of Wax 2005 has more in common with Tourist Trap than the original House of Wax?
I'm definitely of that opinion.
Tourist Trap is amazing, especially considering that it's PG. DeathDream (1974) is another one of those rare gems.
Love Tenebre & Halloween kills. Have not seen Killer party & would like to see it.
10 to midnight is a great movie. I love Chuck Bronson may he RIP. The killer is Brad Davis' brother.
I love Stage Fright
Your honorable mentions were all movies I would have been comfortable having in the top ten.
Yeah it's a solid list.
I’m waiting for that terrifier 2 trailer reaction !! Please tell me it’s on the way !
Love the channel btw man ! You got me into Italian slashers!
Thank you Shaun! Yes I will get a reaction out this weekend.
lee do you think that the copycat killer in h ends will make for an interesting final chapter or do you think it is too late in the trilogy to add a copycar killer in my opinion that is something that could of been set up at the end of h 18 I am curious of your opinion on that
Such a good series hopefully there'll be a 5th installment a lot of slashers I've watched now because of this series👍especially pieces which is bad but so much fun and the ending made me love and rewatch multiple times.
5 is definitely happening!
Just watched Torso for the first time last week because of your review a couple months back, great movie, can’t say enough about Italian Horror!
Hell yeah!
78 was my favorite Fear Street too..the suicide girl was scary af im all the movies
Yeah I remember me and my brothers watching a lot of horror movies late night on HBO. Horror movies like Night of the Demon 1988 and Pumpkinhead.
I love your lists! I have seen so many great movies because of you, so thx! Def gonna seek out Killer Party. Never heard of that one. I’ve seen everything but 10TM but I already added that to my list from your previous video.
I recently saw X and added it to my Amazon cart so fast. As soon as the price drop hits, it’s a purchase.
Have you seen Come True? Since we both love great scores to horror, that one can’t be missed. Plus the movie is purchase worthy for me. I’m definitely gonna buy that one too. I’m 56 and that movie I had to pause about halfway through and give myself a chance to breathe. Lol I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it.
Love comments like this!
Harpers island is a great who done it slasher tv shows. I only saw it in 2020 on prime
I believe for free.
I’m not joking I had a blast watching this. If you have not seen it check it out you won’t be disappointed.
Glad u're finally lovin the italian cinema =D sergio martino is a genius
Yes he is. I adore all his movies.
All good choices there, I like all of those. 10 to midnight is great and cannon. love the bronson cannon movies and your t shirt!. Halloween kills is great and also better than 2018. Haha.
Love it
I had a lot of fun with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I've watched it three times and didn't feel like anything dwindled upon subsequent viewings.
Halloween ENDS will b on PEACOCK again
My Drumdums Part 4 Top 10 Slashers

Tourist Trap is a top slasher with freaking mannequins, Stage Firght was a good Giallo slasher, Silent Rage is underated gem everyone should check it out nobody talks about this film, Rental I really liked it, 10 to Midnight is awesome & so different slasher, Visting hours I loved it & M. Ironside is excellent, Just Before Dawn I liked the location & soundtrack, Torso is another top slasher from 70's but I'm surprised to see Halloween Kills on 3 & Killer Party on 2.
I hope you consider to add following films in your next Top Slasher Movies video :
Pieces, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Alice Sweet Alice, Silent Scream, Too Scared To Scream, April Fool's Day, American Gothic (1987), Blood & Black Lace, New York Ripper, The Collection, Eyes of a Stranger, When a Stranger Calls, Terror Train, He Knows You're Alone, Intruder, Night School, The Initiation, Curtains.
Because of you I saw tourist trap and you totally should do a top pg/13 horror list
Poltergeist and Jaws obviously, the Ring. Ouija 2, lights out and the fourth kind
Yes so many to put on that list.
Freaky was so awesome
Torso is a great film. And I never seen Killer Party but now you have me really curious about it.
Dude Killer Party is a must watch!
How about a Friday The 13th final girl ranking?
Great idea!
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews And A Nightmare On Elm Street one
Okay Drum, Killer Party it is.
Yes Lee The Rental is fantastic!
Hell yeah!
I enjoy slashers movies too
Slashers are the best! Lee you should do a top 10 Halloween holiday movies with the season coming up!
I have actually done such a list. If you check out my rankings playlist it should be in there.
Yes, to 10 to midnight! An awesome Charles Bronson movie (May he RIP. ) It had a great cast.
Man I love 10 to Midnight so much.
Great list Lee! Love it!! BTW do Giallo mean slasher in Italian or are they different horror movie???
There's a slight difference in that they are more mysteries than anything. But some definitely bleed into slasher territory.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews yes!! Giallo is more Mystery!! I thought Giallo was just the way Italian would say slasher movies !! Thanks Lee 👍👍
@@paulgreen6824 giallo means yellow in Italian. The giallo films(or gialli, not giallos) came from the yellow paperback mystery novels that were sold in Italy. Kinda similar to how we get movie adaptation of Stephen King novels but I don't really read. I just like watching the films.
Love your t-shirts! Where do u get them
Different places, mostly TeePublic.
No, I haven't seen or heard of most of these films
I saw bits of Rental? Was it called? Whatever it was, I just saw some scenes of it. I was too busy doing stuff to watch it from start to end.
I saw X it was ok. I liked it for a one time watch, I don't plan to ever watch it again though
Then I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Which I had fun with. Far from a perfect, amazing movie but I still really liked it & have fun with it. It would go somewhere in my list of Favorites slashers. Or even horror in general
Fun fact about Ten to midnight .. the house they used was the Jarvis house from Friday the 13th Final Chapter ..😎they also used it in Eraser
Holy shit. Thank you Earl!
Dude watch the animated movie Perfect Blue from 1997, it has Dario Argento vibes I’m shore u gonna like it
I think the movie popcorn took inspiration from stage fright
Yes I think you're right!
Love these videos lee. X is in my top five favorite horror movies of the last 20 years. Those old people are bat shit crazy and scary as hell. 🔪😎
Hell yeah William!
You may have explained it in your previous Top 10 Slashers videos, but just out of curiosity, how do you select your slashers on this list? Do you select from like a specifically list of about 40 or 50 movies? Obviously Halloween (1978) is your favorite slasher and it’s not on this list, so I was just interested in knowing your criteria.
Good question Brent. With each new list, this gets a bit more difficult. But I like to gather a good mix of new and old, and absolutely no stinkers. They have to be quality slashers. Also putting a few deeper cuts on there is always a must. I have a lot of fun putting these lists together.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews OK cool thank you for the info. I and many others really enjoy watching these lists that you have put together.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews I personally rate my movies based on the character development, fun, memorability, quirkiness, creativity, compelling characters e.t.c protoganist and supporting character factor. Second is the kills, ie the over-the-top blood and creative kills factor. And the next stage and third in my list is the atmosphere, ie the music and visuals, ie the tension factor. Fourth is the killer ie how he dresses, his tendencies, his back story, his prowess or strength, brutality e.t.c. ie the antagonist or the evil factor.
Thus does the protoganist factor, antagonist factor book end the film, with tension factor and overthetop blood and creative kills factor divvy up the looming presence and actual presence of the masked unstoppable killer.
Halloween 4 is my fave ;-)
🥁 🎃
Oh that’s definitely on one of the previous lists.
Good list 👍🏻i will rewatch and others watch for the first time during the october/halloween 🎃 month.
P.S i don't know if you have reviewed or watched them already but other good slasher 🔪 movies i can recommend are:
Alone in the dark from 1982
Curtains from 1983
Stepfather part 1 from 1987
The funhouse massacre from 2015 (this one is like a little guilty pleasure)
I have all of those on my list.
Is there anywhere that keeps track of all slashers that are released?
Also Texas 2022 is a Slasher but the original isn't?
I’ve since changed my mind. The TCM movies are backwoods slashers. Look up the Slasher Movie Book
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews Where would you rank it then, top 50?
Hey Drumdums Can you review Kill Theory 2009 such an underrated slasher film
HK made the list. I call bias. 😜
Ruby Lane from the Fear Street trilogy was awesome 👌🏻
I want a Ruby Lane movie!
@DrumdumsMovieReviews Yeah, that would be amazing 👏 I would love a series with each episode being about a different killer
I found ten to midnight on Tubi TV
FEAR STREET!!!!!!
thought I was the only one who thoroughly enjoyed The Rental ! didn’t Dave Franco direct it as well ? very interesting movie from what I remember.
Yes LOVED The Rental!
I enjoyed texas chainsaw 2022 too. I heard alot of people complain about the "your gonna get cancelled" line but I mean that's what people are like in 2022.i also loved halloween kills and people hate the whole mob chant thing but that's what mobs are like irl. Stupid chants.
Thank you! Who wouldn't want to see those idiots get mowed down?
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews I think people like that should watch the movie texas chainsaw(2022) just so they see how stupid they are in real life.
