It’s very interesting how in a way this is a repeat of euro 2021 when they were also hosting that euros as well. England scored first in the early minutes. Then the champions of those euros came back and equalized it. It’s 1-1 for both England and the champions of those euros. England lose on penalties narrowly both times. In the end it’s Garett South Gate fault both times. I’m sure euro 2028 will be a repeat of this for England since their the host of that one

I was 9 years old then, we were on holiday on Mallorca. At the evening my father took my mother, my sister and me to a bar which was seperated in an english room and a german room. There were no places left. I sat in the first row on the floor with other kids. The extra time scared the s**t out of me. But in the end Möllers penalty made me so proud and happy🥲🙌🇩🇪
This game would be the greatest match ever between England and Germany if it wasn't for the extreme brutality mainly from the English side (watch 'em 96 Deutschland England ' from German TV). Apart from that: the editing is brilliant btw!

What this footage doesn't show is that for the whole game Southgate defended impeccably.
I felt so sorry for him when his penalty was saved.
He done what anyone would do as a footballer, nothing special at all! If he wasn't there we would be through! He knew he was going to miss but took it anyway!!
I was at that game and when Germany equalised my mate asked me who scored. 'Kuntz', I told him and he relied 'Yeah, I know that, but which one?' 🤣🤣🤣
