The Dutch really deserved to lose here, the Danish were so much better! This game is out of my memory.... Whole tournament hasn't registered. Fantastic for the Danish even though. They replaced Yugoslavia who were sadly in war😢 and WON the tournament. I do remember the final against Germany, 2-0. But even The Three-One(!) Victory of Holland against Germany kind of left the memory.
I skipped this match back in 1992 because I thought that Netherlands would go to the final surely and get the shocking news on the next day.

I find it interesting how Denmark beat the defending euro champions and then defeated the next euro champions both in the same tournament. I like to think that the Netherlands pass the torch to Denmark who then passed it to Germany at the end of this euro
