I found a way to disable it. go to information settings with the key on. you will find auto start stop with no action. press auto start button to turn off. press ok on the wheel and and hit the arrows while holding down the ok button. turn key off. Then start vehicle. It will say you have disabled the start stop feature.
It would have been good to actually see the stop/start work, I spend 15 minutes listening to you complaining about it, but not see it, what exactly is the issue, is it too slow to start again or something?
in my opinion the aggravation is if you BREATHE on the brake it engages. If you wait 2 seconds at a stop sign it stops. I like it at traffic lights, but even then the AC air gets warm after about 10 seconds so its just kind of lame most of the time
If you have the A/C on it will not shut off. You can disable the auto stop/start feature. You do know that ,right?
how?
@@R3DRAIN89 turn your rear de froster on lmfao that will not let it off
Of course it won't shut off your engine if you have your AC set on LOW.... Anyways I know, auto start stop sucks, that's why I always turn it off.
I hated auto start stop, I never had it activated.
The environment matters too not just gas mileage lol
Not having to spend money on batteries and starters matters to me! Why do i say that well stopping and starting your car every few miles is not good on your batteries health and your starter motor well if it has to be used every xx miles then thats a lot more un needed wear and tear on your starter motor and besides that, you like ac in the summer and heat in the winter because having the ac on or heat will disable the auto stop start function even having the rear window defroster on disables the stop/start function ford them selfs have a 3 page list of different things that will cause auto stop start function to not work
you drove over 2000 rpm with the engine cold, you do great damage to your car
