A little about me:

press edit above a track, use the arrows to go over to "track measure" chose a measure or set to "free" which will give you unlimitied (until you press stop) so record beat, then set a track measure to "free" and lay down the vocals.

Nice piece of gear. It would be cool to see how you set up everything specially since you have multiple inputs like a synth and a drum pad going through it.

Hi Rudy, I'm stuck. In a few words, can you tell me how to run the 505 as a simple START/RECORD/STOP then have the 4 others for layering on top of that. An RC-30 but with 5 available tracks. Thx . AZ.
@@piperofsimms The best advice I could give is to watch Andres Colin who usedan RC30 in his shows, in all his prior vids he shows how he constructs the songs which might help you with your questions, good luck

Also Andrés Colin uses a RC 505 currently and another guy I follow on CZcams is DOVYDAS , that guy is really good with a 505 looper as well , good luck
Awesome. Got mine in December. these things are great. I uses a MFCB 1010 midi controller and that allows you to do much more than just the foot switch including expression pedals. So much fun. ;)

Good video and good lesson too. You mentioned that you're using "loop sync" but what exactly does that mean? Is it a setting, hardware or maybe both? Any advice or help is appreciated. :)

Thx I didn't know how multi worked. I do songs with two parts an this will be helpful. Great idea on mic switch. I had gremlins showing up on my loops.

How did you send the line level synth out into the instrument level in on the rc 600. I am trying to record tracks I have programmed into my Roland tr 08 but am unable to gain stage everything properly.
There is a feature on your looper where you specify the length of a loop and have the looper automatically start making layers with out hitting buttons to start and stop.
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I have noticed that it takes a while before all parts are being recorded. Ending up just doing one song in a 45mins set. Taking so much time before the actual song starts. Why not just use a drum machine or backing tracks ?
I know it’s fun creating tracks in on the fly or on the spot live but at the end, you are still playing with a recorded tracks.

Great stuff. But wouldn't you say there is just a little too much reverb coming from every track? Like the wet echo tails start to rele build up on their own

I had the same thought exactly when I read the title.. :)
Great demo sounds easier to use than my rc 600..I did not like the bass synth. But I am a purest as a bass player in an Irish band.
32 bit output sounds so much better than the old rc 300.
Man, with a pedal like this, you don't need to fire anyone, you can just set it & quit. Send out the lackey's, haha. Hope all is well, take it easy.

Don't forget to unplug the FS-6, or it will eat your battery. There are non-battery alternatives.

@@seandaniel23 Andres said the same thing. Rock Stock has a two button footswitch, no lights, no battery and much smaller, but they're out of stock.
