I started thinking you were talking about me when you mentioned a girl was silent at the beginning of the day but then i remembered i didn't do Gatwick lol.
I applied in 2019 for Luton and i was literally all you described not to do - it was my first job interview/assessment ever and all the videos were saying be yourselfđ.
I remember being excited about going to another room and then they said that my group wouldn't go further and didn't get any input as to why (i would have liked to know what I could have done better

@@LS-gp7xy unfortunately I didnât get the job, I didnât feel like I had much of an opportunity to speak during the group session we had as I didnât want to speak over others and all points I was trying to raise have already been mentioned by others, I thought I did well during the one to one interview but apparently not good enough, maybe next time

Best of luck with your virtual AD! If they arenât covered by uniform you can use anything, some crew use plasters or bandages, it depends where it is! Xx

Egle Palionyte I believe if you can reach the lockers you should be okay, I personally havenât seen anyone be sent home but donât take my word for that! Always worth a try đ

Hello!!! I have applied for next year and have got through to the online assessment. I have a fair few tattoos but are all easily able to be covered with trousers and long sleeve top etc. Is this a problem??? So nervous about it. I went for ryan air before and they were extremely strict and said none at all what so ever. Where as easy jet seem more relaxed???? Im hoping

Hello! You will never be asked to start straight away, there is usually a couple of months wait to get a training date, but they will ask you if there are any dates youâre unavailable for e.g holidays booked etc, so donât worry!

Thank you! đ€ no you give them a list of all the companies, the only occasion you will need to contact them is if they take forever to respond to EasyJet which could and did happen to me, itâs very long đ«đ€Łxx
I got my assessment day on Wednesday! However for jet 2!! Iâm worried about the reach test as I just about make it. Iâm so nervous and donât know what to wear. Any suggestions welcome x

Hi! I just saw that easyjet has cabin crew openings for London. But I would like to be based in Amsterdam so should I wait until they post an Amsterdam based opportunity? Or they base you after the training that you mandatory have to do in England?
You usually have to apply for the base that you want be at, itâs not mandatory to start in the UK so I would wait âșïž

Thanks Meg, my assessment is on Microsoft Teams so Iâm really nervous about it as Iâm not good with coming across on the phone/video calls!! Iâm a bit sad that itâs not in-person :( do you know anything about the online assessment day?? Iâm not sure how theyâre going to split us into groups, or if itâs just going to be the interview!!
@@tia.talbot I know what you mean itâs harder to get yourself across when itâs online but everyone Iâve spoken to about it said it went really well! They still do the group activities I believe but unfortunately Iâve not done a virtual one so Iâm not 100% sure! Iâm sure it will be as much like the normal day as it can be though! đ€

Hey Megan i would like to know if you are getting any money during your training for cabin crew in EASYJET and did they provide accomodation ?
Yes you get paid for training and accommodation is only provided if your training is away from where youâre going to be based
Can you become up and crew with EJ? If you're in a wheelchair do you have a policy because I can do I can walk and do things and go on slides, but I just wondered
As cabin crew you can sometimes work incredibly long days on your feet and on a daily basis you are required to operate heavy doors and trolleys, in the event of a medical emergency you may be required to perform CPR so you would need to be fit and able to do all of those things to be cabin crew
Hi thank you for sharing. Question: when you did your training, did they pay you or did you have a job? As I heard most are a couple of weeks, so I am wondering how you still pay your bills while training?
Tresea Myers you do get a payment for your training but I would recommend working your old job right up until you start training, maybe give yourself a few days off in between, as it does get tight for money at the start đ

What if i am from another country away from UK how and where my assessment day will be based
Your assessment day will be in the country of the base you apply for, so if you apply to a UK base it will be in the UK
Keen on the consultant to jump in to the kitchen and the other month on Friday as we are away on Sunday for xx đ đ so đ is fine and if we do the same for the other day đ I would đ it đ but if you đ it đ it will not work đ so đ is just the one that đ it đ I will do so much đ and I absolutely hope that it will alwyas

From what Iâve heard itâs as similar to the real thing as it can be, the only difference is I donât think you have to pass the first part of the day to get an interview, you will just have one anyway âșïž

Hi, I have seen that easy jet is not searching cabin crew and they sent me an e mail saying that i have created an account on their career site, is it all right? What you suggest me to do?
It just means they arenât hiring right now but they will contact you when they are âșïž
Do they contact old companies for references? As the restaurant I worked in pretty sure there is one manager there or maybe none that worked there when I did! As they are all new staff ? How many references ? Iâve only had 2 jobs x
Also what sort of stuff do they want to know from references x
@@ElLiEMUSICxx itâs all references from the last five years, so obviously itâs different for everyone, some people might have one reference, others might have ten! Was the restaurant that you worked in part of a chain? Because I had that with one of my old jobs where there was nobody left that remembered me so they contacted the actual head office of greene king, all they need is confirmation that you did work there during the dates youâve said you did, thatâs fine if youâve only got 2 references, the amount doesnât matter as long as itâs everything youâve done for the last 5 years đ

JAs I think I have the contacts for the owner of the restaurant I worked out and sheâd be able to confirm my history there so I could get in contact for a reference from herX as it wasnât a big chain, family run! No worries huni! I believe they send it in the post but it can also be done via email or phone but they will do all that for you! All you have to do is provide the details of the job and the contact details xx

You donât need any travel qualifications so I would say just go ahead and apply!
Hi i was just wondering if you ever did that video on referencing? Iâm worried as i now have to give details and one of my previous employments i left on bad terms so would i be able to leave it off my cv or do the referencing company ask for bank statements in the time your not in employment as proof of what you were doing in that time?
I didnât make a video but you do have to include all jobs from the last five years. Failure to provide them all could result in you being denied an airport ID. However, they are only contacting your previous employers as a security procedure to clarify you were where you say you were, they donât ask about job performance or anything like that

Hi Megan. I applied last week for Gatwick, and I know there were no answer right or wrong but I got an automated response few seconds after submitting my online assessment saying that I didn't pass it. So I wonder how the judgment is made. Now I have to wait 6 months to reapply :(
Oh no! Iâm sorry to hear that đ one of the 3 tests there is a right answer so perhaps it was that? But I have no idea unfortunately đ you could always try other airlines if you donât want to wait 6 months? So sorry for you!

Congratulations đ donât be scared, the online assessment is split into 3 parts and 2 of those are just personality quizzes essentially so there is no right or wrong answer. The third one is a timed scenario quiz like how would you deal with certain situations but tbh most of it is common sense and if youâve worked in any customer service job youâll know what to answer easily! How detailed did the 5 year reference need to be? Eg is it just job and duration or more detail?
I believe itâs the job details, duration and then the contact details they will need in order to obtain the reference! So your works number, address, etc

Do you get them the reference documents or will they phone to find out themselves?
They will contact all the companies for you, you just have to provide all the info. The only instance that you will need to contact the companies yourself is if, for whatever reason, they are taking a while to respond to referencing and you just need to Give them a push!

Hey! Iâm 6â5 and I really wanna work for easyJet! Would they let me on?
I believe 6â5 is a little too tall for most airlines but no harm in trying!
What is the career progression like over long term?
You can apply for cabin manager after 6 months and from there you can go onto be a trainer or work in recruitment so Iâd say itâs very good!

Hi Megan, nice video - I came across with your video after searching how long did people wait from talent pool đ. I had my online assessment last Tuesday after I finished within 15 min said I passed, then on Wednesday I had message saying through to next stage to book virtual interview, had it on Thursday via Microsoft Teams she said you'll hear back in 2-3 days. Friday morning got email "virtual interview update" I thought wow that's quick maybe I failed. I was nervous but opened the email it says "Congratulations!!! We're going to put you on 12 months talent pool. Did you had to wait for long on talent pool what happened when you went for BA? Do you still work as cabin crew? Thanks for reading my message đ
Thank you âșïž ahh congratulations đ„ł I was given a start date 2 months after being successful but the start date wasnât for another 4 months after that so it was 6 months in total. But itâs different for everyone! Yes I am still cabin crew đ

Hello, did you had to give easyjet recommendation letters of all your studies of the last five years?
You just give them all of the information of your last five years of employment/education and they get the references for you

Hi there I just seen your comment. Iâm really sorry you didnât get ba. I think to join ba some have to be working in an airline before but obviously some got through without it . I was really Iâll on the day staring at a screen for hours on end fixated on it first time I watched a screen for whole 3 half hours tbh .
I shouldnât of taken notice of people to be fair as it made me Iâll I can be quite fiddly so I listened to people on you tube about sitting there taking notice your being watched 247 . I think people saying that freaked me out . Did you know that ba is one of the hardest to get into though . And it was my first interview done on teams I never done it before if you used to it though thatâs experience and itâs good.

Be proud to of tried as ba is a top airline and the process is a little daunting etc for some .

Of course! As long as you speak the language of the country you want to work out of you can work from whichever base you like đ you apply online and yes they accept no crew experience you just need customer service experience!

Hi Iâve recently got the job with easy jet it says the pay is 7,000 a year on my Contract for a first time cabin crew member is that correct?
What contract are you on?

@@tiacollins674 okay so yeah the 7k will equal 875 basic pay per month but for the 8 months youâre working you will also get you sector pay (flight pay) and your comission on top of that so you will be earning more than 875 per month! For the 4 months that youâre off you will just get your basic pay because you wonât be flying so you may need a second income in those months

Iâm from Dorset in the south west of England originally but Iâve lived in Sussex for 6 years so I think itâs a combo of those two đ
