Damn, i listened trough 30 minutes of this, while i have totally no interest in an aviation related job. It's interesting to hear how such a famous Arabic airliner works. They put quite a lot of energy into selecting people.

From Experience i can tell you I doubt you will be accepted.They need full body able people for the reasons of emergencies .You may be able to move well and fast, but they don't take chances.You can email them and ask before you apply.

NUR fala hi :) 158cm is just 2 cm less than their minimum height requirement. don't worry, during recruitment process they don't measure candidates, the only thing they will ask you to do is to reach 212cm with your hands, you can stand on your toes.You can check it at home first before you go there, but I think you should not have any problem to reach the line. just in case they ask you what's your height or you will need to put it any form remember to put 160cm ;)

I went to the assessment day in London yesterday. There was about 100 people. I was being myself and a lot of confident lovely people did not get through. To be honest by the end of it, all you saw is tall , light skin people who just had a distinct look that got through. They don’t want sweet or bubbly personalities or someone who can let their guards down. They want almost robotic individuals who are societies ideology of beauty.
I got thrown out the first round and this was my childhood dream but my boyfriend who only tagged along to give it a shot, he wasn’t really bothered and he didn’t even really smile at all and he got through to the end! So all I can say don’t seem to eager if you really want the job, don’t be too confident. You will be baffled as to what they are looking for. And what I observed was you simply need to look like the ideal emirates Cabin Crew.
Aw, they're looking for applicants again here in Birmingham. At least you put yourself out there even if it didn't work out. Thanks for sharing though, I doubt I'll be accepted as I don't meet those standards, but it's worth a shot.
