- When it comes to esports, few things matter as much to its competitors as legacy - the hallowed, lasting memories of individuals that remain long after their days in the spotlight inevitably come to an end.
But the thing about legacy is…well, you don’t always get to choose what you’re remembered for. And in the case of Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, there’s a lot to choose from.
Like his goofy personality, his reputation for being bloodthirsty royalty, and his insatiable appetite for victory.
Over the course of his 8 year pro career, Jankos has enjoyed tremendous successes but more recently, he’s become associated with a certain kind of hilarious failure; his complete and utter inability to land a Nidalee spear.

Jankos is the reason I began watching twitch streams, G2 matches and eSports in general. This man is just awesome with a magnetic personality. Like he'll make you laugh easily just by being himself.

It's because he played nidalee when it was turbo broken for just power farming. He sucked when Nidalee returned to the meta.

You can actually feel sportsmanship when watching Jankos play. He can translate his passion for the game and that makes him great
Jankos has such a great personality. I used to not prefer him because I thought he was annoying. I checked out a couple of his streams and found myself cheering for his plays when I watched him in LEC.
As an EU and Fnatic fan, I respect Jankos.
Besides not having won worlds, Jankos will end up being in the top 5 junglers of all time. No other jungler OR EVEN PLAYER ( BESIDES FAKER OFC) has been Elite as long as Jankos

My first ever encounter with Jankos was on H2K and he and Ryu absolutely won my heart over. If anyone asked me what my favorite era of league was, I always tell them it was that.

You can be the very best in the world at a certain point in your career and as soon as you falter (which you always eventually will), your supporters turn their backs on you and start flaming you. And how popular you are depends on how good you are. And the greater your rise, the more pain you will face when you fall because you have more "fans" that will flame you for being washed

Scuttle crab used to have a bug that will sometimes place its hitbox from center forward so skillshots to its back side would "miss". It was fixed in s9-10 if i remember correctly.
The bug had around 3% chance to occur per spawn.

If there was a single person I would want on my team for personality alone, it would be Jankos, and I generally don't like loud people around me
Sometimes it actually is the games fault. Those nid spear clips at the beginning did not miss. You can literally pause the video and see the spear directly on top of the targets... But hey, if the game wasn't chalk full of bugs, Vandril wouldn't have such a successful career. And Jankos seems to be doin just fine despite all that as well.

Look I will be honest here that meme is so dumb Jankos isnt known for his Nidalee anyways and he rarely plays her. His most famous pick is actually Sejuani as he isnt as mechanically gifted as some of the other NA/EU junglers.
With that to say Jankos is no doubts, the GREATEST EU jungler to have ever played the game, he is the EU equivalent of Xmithie in NA and was no doubts the BEST EU jungler in the years of 2019~2020. His dominance in the year 2019 in particular, was the PEAK performance from ANY EU jungler so far, and EU has not yet seen anyone who was on his level, even in today - the year of 2022.
No doubts he is... very old and should be retiring and yes, I completely agree with the trashtalk in the middle of the video, Jankos indeed cant play mechanical champs and that was the downfall of G2 and it costed them worlds and 3-0 spanking vs SKT but... Look who is to blame here? Jankos has a contract and he needs to earn money. G2 pays the money so he plays, there is no need to trashtalk because everybody knows he is living off pure reputation at this point pretty much.
