This week we're carrying on our 'SC500' 500 mile roadtrip in our three cheap modified £500 cars. However due to Ethan crashing his focus after a drag race, we spent most of the day fixing it before heading to lands end.

@@garyrmatthews3808 I spent 12 years at motor factors. Including a brief stint at ECP. Unfortunately those who know what they're on about were replaced by kids who'd work for less and use a computer to search for stuff rather than knowledge. :)

So I'm gunna say it. I grew up watching top gear live. And tried watching top gear usa and very rarely enjoyed the USA version. But I am happy that I found this channel some time ago and love the challenges. I am happy that you guys do what you do. And it may not be everyone's cup of tea to try and get their fix of top gear. But it sure is mine. Addicted to the channel. And hope to be as addicted as I once was when top gear was live. Thank you to all three of you and your crew for the great content and great attitudes.
AMERICAN ONE was ok, your just not a TRUE top gear fan. BTW for t hose of you who say its not top gear with out the trio, top gear existed before them and will exist after the current three. watching top gear for 39 years and not stopping

Ethan learned the hard way about the Cornish hedge. Camouflage for rocks and the drystone wall. Growing up banging shotboxes around Cornish lanes me and my mates soon found out 😂

This was brilliant! 😆 Ethan's little mishap at the end of th drag race got me thinking, maybe an on-road car off-road challange would be a cool idea. You'd be surprised how well a regular family car can go offroad especially with some mud tyres on it!

May I just say about the sponsor and I'm not getting paid for this. I swear, I just have one at Carly's expense. What I have to say is its bloody brilliant as we had a rather problematic volvo xc90 (erica) and I had to run constant diagnostics as the car was firing its CEL and I had the problems fixed as soon as my wallet allowed me to.
I bought a full pack from Carly's for my VW Polo 2007, so do you think that it will detect even the ABS sensor that it's faulty? So I don't have to waste time taking out each sensor one by one and check them? I paid £130 for the full thing 😅
Have convinced a few of my mates to come with me on this before the end of summer. Gonna be a wicked weekend especially coming from wales 😄

Good to see you guys made it. I did the nc500 and the sc500 in 3 weeks, starting from the ferry at harwich going up and back down to lands end and back again to harwich over london in a 2006 citroen dispatch with 170 000 miles on the clock. All went great and best trip so far

Fun fact, the ship was called "RMS Mülheim" the town where I'm living now "Mülheim an der Ruhr"
It had 2200t of shredded plastic loaded on board, there were a crew of 6 and they were rescued right away via helicopter on behalf of the Royal Navi. It caused ecological damage by releasing a 500m carpet of diesel and around 300t of plastic in to the water.
The ship broke in 2 pieces in Oct 2003 causing this landscape.
I'd like to see it myself tbh.
