RYANAIR HARD LANDING and SCENIC APPROACH AT RIGA (RIX) | 🇱🇻 4K In-Flight

- Hello Everyone! 👋
This is the Final Part of My Flight from Budapest (BUD) - (RIX) Riga, Operated by a Ryanair Sun Boeing 737-8AS. The Approach to Riga Airport has the Opportunity to Both be very regular, or very Scenic, and Thankfully we Got the Scenic Option on this Flight. Prior to Landing we Approached Riga over the Shores of the Baltic Sea, and thus got to see most of the City and Beaches in the Surrounding Area, The Weather was ideal, as it was a Mix of Clear Skies, Small Clouds and Rain Clouds in the Distance, which makes for some Terrific Scenery! The Landing itself was quite Typical for Ryanair, and certainly lives up to Their Reputation :)
We Broke through the Cloud Layer over the Saulkrasti Area, which is Situated on the Coast Line in the Riga Gulf, and Proceeded to Briefly Fly over the Baltic Sea, providing Excellent Views of the Mouth of the Daugava River which flows through Riga. After A Few Sharp Turns we passed over Daugavgrīva, which is another Region next to the Sea, now South of the Daugava River, and Began Our Final Approach into Riga International Airport (RIX)
Rain Clouds Surrounded us during Landing, as Rain is visible from the Final Portion of the Flight to be over the City Center, and also to the Right of us, which became visible Later after Landing. The Landing Itself of Course was quite hard, as even my Camera Jolted Forward during the Initial Touchdown. We had arrived 19 Minutes Early and the Taxiing took less than 5 Minutes. All in all this Footage Perfectly Encapsulates the Scenic Approaches that are possible at Riga Airport, More Details on the Flight itself Below:

can tell by the landing coz it isnt hard and tthe reverse thrust doesnt deafen u in this
I don’t know about that, I only had a few seconds to get the camera recording and thus it was quite zoomed in during landing so it doesn’t appear as hard, and later after the touchdown the mic was covered by something so it didn’t sound as loud as it actually was, thanks for the comment! :)
@@Gouto- lol. The 737-800s I’ve been on have always been really loud
@@nanospace2389 Yeah, something happened to the mic, on the flight back when I landed it was loud on the reverse thrust 👍👍
It is not hard landing
It doesn’t look hard from the video but I can tell you that this landing was definitely on the tougher side
Normal landing
Normal Ryanair landing, video doesn’t really do it justice as the camera that filmed the landing had a low fov and thus couldn’t get that much of it in the shot
